I think, the intuition for post-screech timing is most likely based of the flapping of his wings, in a similar fashion to where if you're 5.3ticking you move out 4 ticks after your first hit to not create a rag tile. I believe his flap sounds happen every gametick making tick counting very easy at Xarpus, and also something that helps subconsciously determine the cycle post screech. Thanks for the video!
So I don't know if this is still relevant, but there's definitely a way to tell where you are in the cycle. Depending on what tick you hit Xarp it can show you where you are in the cycle. It goes 22121 13524 Top is the cycle, bottom is the tick you hit Xarp on on that cycle. So that means on screech, you pay attention to where you are. You just count the screech as a cycle 1st tick on screech: You get 2 hits in then 2121 22121 2 tick on screech: you get 2 hits in and 1 on next, then 22121 3 tick on screech: You get 2 hits on screech then 121 22121 4 tick on screech: 4t action then same as 3
I've been trying this on solo entry mode since its infinite lives now w/ infinite bandages, and holy shit I think I have brain damage or am rhythmically challenged LMAO you make this look easy. thank you for being such a comprehensive one stop shop for learning this content

After ragging, is it okay to stand next to xarpus, step back on the spit sound queue, or do you lose a tick? From what I've gathered, I think it should work, and could be an even easier way for someone to learn 5t scythe, just trying to figure out if I'm missing anything. Great video btw!

after rag u have 4 ticks to step back. what u do in those ticks is up to u. u could even touch the back wall if u feel like it
