As many have stated the ramble is actually not rambling (it's more eloquent and comes from someone who has a really deep understanding of the encounter) particularly the nylo segment. Really shows how much it matters to be a team player with some fixed obligations.
They did perfectly fine for GM times. Most people will be barely getting by with the current gm times even post all the gear changes etc. They planned to make it doable on release and any other powercreep that applies after is an afterthought. Most people don't plan to learn to pneck, sbswapping, gbing, or sote skips.
But GM is not for most people, it's for people who plan to learn. Doable is not something that should be a constant for whole community. It's not doable until it is with enough practice.
@@tookie9 Agree to disagree. Just be aware that the time is barely achievable for most people that even have the combat level for it assuming ~5% of those that are in that space. Just know that speed running at this level not even .1% of the community cares enough to compete that much. It's a gap in the average player's expectation vs the best of the best expectations.
Yea the logic is quite flawed. 50% of the strats/gear here thats used came out well after the gm times came out. Zcb/torva/masori/lightbearer etc. With that logic all times need to be changed everytime new power creep gear/weps come in? Pointless endeavour lol
@@beastied6886 Different diary times (e.g. obliv diary) were adjusted after power creep. Feel like over long run gagek will make it very accessible which is weird for something that should be the most "prestigious" pvm reward in game.
15:20 I would love a video on the boak method (assuming that's what you're referring to). I know of the method but it's so incredibly hard to find info on how to do it properly. All I have to work off of is muted clips of streamers doing it. An actual breakdown (of both sides, ideally) would help immensely.

I was planning to return this holiday season, but unfortunately, some things came up - as they have been... The melee amulet (I forgot what it's called) provides a substantial advantage, hence all the new recs.
You're old school so you know back in the day you could get your prayers up between orbs right. But then for a while and for whatever reason it was changed to a 5t cooldown which meant you couldnt get prayers up between consecutive orbs. Now it's back to how it was, where you can get your prayers up between certain (still not all) orbs.
we found out by accident during moneyraids and tested for a while afterwards, also looking back at older clips etc. it means you can get prayers up between 2 targeted orbs, but not if there's a triple orb (2 targeted and 1 split in between).
Great video You're smashing the CA times, but to be fair the CAs do have to be possible for irons who can't trade around runes/gear so a lot of your advanced strats are not possible
Lowkey that sounds like a fun challenge. I'll ask my team if they would be down to do an ironman speedrun session. I think the results might blow your mind. You have to understand that we're ultra min-maxing and i think we'll get similar (though slightly worse) times with no-trade setups
an overall time speed run would be super interesting. the trading and booking is necessary but makes chasing pbs and records boring since most of the time is spent between rooms. it’d be cool to see how teams minimize hallway time

it's sort of worth, but on average i use range so much that it's worth camping rigour over augury during waves. if i feel like it i'll use augury for bigs and boss tho, but im lazy and it's not impactful enough to switch for every crab imo
