For me I bought a mk6 zetec s as my everyday runner, cheap etc etc, and when I switch between the two mk6 fiesta's, it reminds my just how far I have taken it! However I dont modify it, it has the standard sports bumpers etc, so not totally dull, and then all the spare money goes on the ST, one car costs enough! Although I still do keep a record of what I have spent on my ST over the years, I stopped counting it over 10 years ago lol. The enjoyment for me over the years has been worth every penny Enjoy the new power when you get it, keep up the good work

I seriously can not wait as I know it's nothing crazy like your Turbo build but for my road use I think an extra day 30bhp and ftlbs will be noticeable. Plus the noise these inlets supposed to give I just can't wait
@@DriveWithAndy I would have also choose that inlet if it was available at the time, it seems like the correct route to take for the n/a build. I have no doubt it will be an improvement on the overall experience of the car. looking forward to that update
Get a mk5 zetec s maybe a bit too old but always loved the look of them, for under 1k you’d probably be fixing a lot or rust so maybe it’d be more of a restoration than modification project
Oh yeh love the Mk5 ZS, great shape, small and fun. But yeh getting a 25 ISH year old car in decent enough condition wownt be great. Also not in a bad way, I'd love to get something other than Ford to try my hand at a different make. Just not sure what. A mini may be a decent shout? Also like the Swift sports but think they are worth a chunk of money
@@DriveWithAndy yeah there’s plenty other brands out there with similar cars for good money, swift sport is a good shout and I never really see any of them being tastefully modified so you could make it a first! 1.6 na 130 odd hp definitely sounds a fun wee motor so I’d definitely watch if it was to be something along those lines, well tbh I’d watch regardless of what car it is😂
I honestly do think they will be collectable. Classic fast Ford have shown they go up in value. With the ST150 being the last of the traditional out a big engine in it hot hatch before eco little turbo engines took over, it ended the era. It also was the first Fiesta to be given the ST badge which then left to one of the most popular hot hatches ever. It both started and ended something. I have looked again recently and a few hundred have gone, scrapped etc and some SORN since my video about them being a future classic so the number are dropping. As each year passes more and more are stripped for parts. Standard ones will be the ones that are desired in the future as they will be extreamly rare even now. Wownt be many on the roads that have not something done to them
@@DriveWithAndy thanks, I'm in the process of buying one off a friend, it's been sat for quite a while and I'm trying to decide what to spend on it. I've been a fast Ford guy from a young age, so I'm tempted to go for it down the NA route with fast road cams and a map.
@@Drew.Pugh.Barney.Mcgrew I love the NA sound and power delivery. You would want a full exhaust to go with your cams and remap. Those mods would see you in the 180+ bhp. Don't bother with any inlet manifold unless it's a track car or charging it as most inlets just kill torque. Apart from the Fusion Fabrications inlet which is being fitted with the phase 1 cams and remap next weekend 😍😍😍 so keep an eye out for that video
@@Drew.Pugh.Barney.Mcgrew I just saw an st150 for sale on autotrader for £13k albeit with only 18k miles, still, that goes to show that people are willing to pay the money the car was worth brand new for one that’s 15 years old, I knew these cars would go up but it’s happened a lot sooner than i thought it would. The earliest of the st150s will be turning 20 later this year so the prices are only gonna rise from now on, especially with the imminent demise of the combustion engine, people are gonna be looking back at the past all misty eyed and the st150 embodies what people miss about old school hot hatches
Thanks for answering my question Andy and it’s GOWLER 😂😂😂😂saved by the ring door bell hahaha it be great to see if u can maybe get a st150 meet up locally or event at a Ford dealership Really think thou Ford should bring back the rs motorsport brand into the future it can be done has everyone has prob seen the Ford electric van that’s warp speed has iam writing watched ur vid in the inlet and cams mapped at dream science my future plans has they stand is on my st150 will be to have wheels refurbed interior change also engine rebuild on a spare with forged internals side winder ready with gt3071 turbo again great channel best of luck Andy all the best and its GOWLER 😂👍🏻
You did man, yeh if I 'had' to go further with power mods side of it then supercharger as just not a fan of turbo cars for the sound difference it makes. Especially on these cars
