Michael Scarn I see. But Ryan does the same. He is the honest guy and he wasn't forced to say nice things about Warwick basses as an endorser. He actually paid for his first Thumb bass. He picked it for it's absolutely unique sound and made revolutionary album L.D. 50.
Its amazing and interesting when an endorser actually explains his instrument of choice and WHY he likes it. Way better than "Hey! I play X brand because it sounds AMAZING". Great work Evan Brewer + Warwick!
I remember playing a Warwick at a guitar shop back around the year 2000. It felt so good on the hands with the sound I was looking for playing funk. No other bass was as satisfying to play. Wish I could have been able to afford it at the time. May get one once I sell my 5 string Ibanez.
this is why I love Warwick the basses are great quality even the entry level basses they make very versatile and I play alot of metal too I have been listening mudevayne for a long time and I love Ryan's bass tone it cuts through the mix beautifully i am going to save up to buy one of the basses and hopefully get a endorsement one day
@@Lordoftheswollen yeah just the one and you can barely hear him. Definitely didn’t play anything close to his usual either. Very in the “pocket”. No doubt because of control freak/junkie Keene
”A little slap example”
Plays Seinfeld from hell.
That is his song Degenerate.
@@lukasbaize109 (Seinfeld from hell)
The only warwick endorser that doesn't sound atificial, forced. He actually genuinely knows and enjoys his guitar.
The only? Have you ever heard about Ryan Martinie? Who actually made revolution in nu-metal/alternative bass playing and made Thumb bass model famous?
Ijen Ayen I think he means in the way he speaks about the instrument, nothing to do with his influence in metal.
Gregory Lavallee I must interject here and agree as well, Ryan is talented and knows his instrument

one does not simply forget ryan martinie

Evan Brewer should make videos for the warwick Rockbass series!
The song he is playing throughout is called degenerate in case anyone was wondering :)
MEC Pickups with EMG Shirt, lol :p
EMG is a way to go though!
Ijen Ayen Not really.
Anthony Haller Not saying MEC is bad, but EMG did better job for me. Always. With 18V EMG electronics.
he uses emgs in his custom basses but his custom wasn't ready when they recorded this so he had to just grab one off the shelf
I have EMGs in my Warwick and trust me, that shirt makes sense.
Skiny Phil Anselmo.
Bastille I detect salt
Evan is a nice dude, no question. One of the most down to earth nice human beings.
Why cause he has a tat on the side of his head?
Playing bass like a guitar, I love it!!
Its clear as to how much he loves Warwick basses

"little slap example" lol
Ohmygawd his hands are huge.
SomthingWorng they have to be if you expect to be a good Bassist
@@xXxThelegend27xXx you are good since you can have a finger per fret for 4 frets everything else is excuses.
@@xXxThelegend27xXx Victor Wootan has some little hands. I feel like bass is more forgiving than piano because you can angle a bass neck.
I bought a warwick because it does everything I need it to
I bought a Warwick because it can do much more than I can do!
This guy knows his shit.
He speaks da truth....Warwicks= The over-all best choice!
Since when does he have a head tattoo?
I love warwicks and PRS...and fenders but warwicks are prolly my favorite bass to use
this guy is what I strive to be on bass
what was that second song he played after the slap example
I need that bass.
What's the in the beginning of the video?
Song at 1:57 ?
Evan Brewer - Degenerate
Evan would make a great product specialist ;)
Christ, I hope that bass was over 18 for that slap sound! 😂
what is the song from begin ???~
I wanted to learn degenerate but I couldn’t get the fretting, glad I saw this and him using his thumb
My ovaries exploded at 1:28
Are his lines written on the back of the headstock? Haha. Evan is the best!
Man i feckin love the faceless
He's only on one album isn't he?
@@Lordoftheswollen yeah just the one and you can barely hear him. Definitely didn’t play anything close to his usual either. Very in the “pocket”. No doubt because of control freak/junkie Keene
@@rlmay87 I liked their third album, but kind of a different direction. First two were prime Faceless.
the fact is : custom shop and massive warwicks are "the same" ..good to let us know about it.
difference between my rockbass vampyre 5 and a custom vamp: quilted maple top, paint job and around 7k$$$ lol
Evan Brewer has that voice where no matter what he says, you believe him. Oh yeah...he can really slap the bass
I had been wondering what Evan was up to. Dude needs to not go MIA so often!
GreetTheSacredCow Whats MIA? Evan has a project called Etheos but i'm not really a fan of it
MIA = Missing in Action.
happy to be the 1,oooth thumbs up for this video
Why to use an EMG t-shirt in a Warwick endorsed video ?
he uses emg pickups in his basses he is endorsed by them too
Because he would have been cold if he had no t-shirt and all the others were at the laundry.
Warwick also use Emg pickups in their ltd instruments and some other artist line like the Robert Trujillo Signature basses.
he has a standard ectomorph frame. skinny people can eat quite a bit.
На любителя бас Warwick...
Sure he's high as fuck, the best!
Dude is high! ha!
Degenerate, from his first solo record =P
horror arms
Dude...eat something
Dude... shut the fuck up
