- Throughout Minecraft's history, there has been several worlds made by TH-camrs like DanTDM's old lab and PewDiePie's Broland that have left a huge impact on the game and its players, so today we're going to be taking a look at some of those long and forgotten Minecraft worlds. Prepare for some nostalgia.

The toughest part of growing up is the past doesn’t follow. I miss seeing Pat and Jen together. And Dan’s experiments and adventures. And kinda upset that he didn’t say anything about Etho’s Lab I felt he was a big stamp in Minecraft’s history.
Yeah for some reason most people seem to skip over etho completely for minecraft nostalgia despite being one of the most influencial creators. Either of his worlds could have been shown
It’s because, while influential, Etho is still a small creator. Furthermore many of the people making these kinds of videos didn’t watch or play Minecraft till it got popular on TH-cam from SkyDoesMinecraft and the likes. Do the OG creators like Paulsorusjr, BdoubleO, etho and the likes fly under many peoples radar

I faintly remember the Notch's Temple map actually scaring the shit out of me for some reason, especially the fact that he cried.
PopularMMOS and DanTDM made me fall in love with mods, Twilight Forest and Aether were always my favorite mods back then.
Stampy made me love building, also I just loved seeing him and his friends do silly little skits and stuff.
I didn't really ever play the tutorial world but I remember seeing it alot, it gives me GM Construct vibes sorta..

It is rare that I ever shed a tear when watching TH-cam, but when he showed Stampy’s world, I was borderline bawling my eyes out
I started out on the Xbox 360 tutorial world, not the one in this video, the one with a similar spawn but it was upgraded a lot, instead of the "castle" that was more like a fort than anything there was an actual huge castle with a redstone gate that only unlocks when you complete the first part of the tutorial with everything you could ever want, farms, storage, enchanting rooms, crafting rooms, bedrooms, pretty much everything and instead of just a little empty village there was an actual village (unfortunately villagers back then where useless because trading hadn't been added) and also a bunch of hidden rooms and temples scattered around the map. It wasn't just a boring tutorial either, it taught the basics and then "ok then, go do whatever" and it let the player go out and explore the massive world with everything a survival player could need. Infinite worlds didn't exist back then so you couldn't just walk for ages to find the perfect place, and it was extremely hard to find a good seed, but this map was pretty much perfect. It was the perfect world. I get so nostalgic every time I think about it and still get annoyed because my mum sold the Xbox 360 so we could afford to move to some crappy town in the middle of the desert that my family regrets going to. Kinda disappointed that this version of the tutorial map wasn't in this video because even though it wasn't the first one it's definately the most nostalgic for a lot of people that I know and by far one of the best survival maps of its time.

Fuck I started on the original, you had a fake village, the castle didn't have the bridge or gate it was just an empty castle with a church at the back and a dock at the bottom right, I don't think the second village behind spawn was in that version but the lighthouse was
I remember just replaying the TU1 tutorial world over and over cause I had to wait for my birthday to get Minecraft a month after release

I watched popularMMOs the most out of all the Minecraft TH-camrs, and considering the current state of Pat's channel, it really hit my feels seeing the building that gave me so many good times as a child.

One personal to me is The Yogscasts SOI world, not only were the builds amazing and nostalgic there’s also a story and lore behind each area. Each area is an episode in such a grand adventure that sadly never was fulfilled. I would love to explore it

The stampy’s lovely world hit me hard, I remember watching it when I was a kid, he was the one that introduced me to mc and been playing the game since
Ah the lab good times. I remember when I found a map of it online. I fiddled with it using other mods like the dalek mod to make it look abandoned. Blackened steel and dalekanium blocks replaced iron and gold. knocked out several blocks, replaced quartz with clay and broke and yellowed the glass. The idea I had was that a showcase had gone horribly wrong. I had made a secret room in the testing chamber under a lamp where I put dan, trayarus and grim like it was some kind of stasis chamber it was kinda neat.

Fun fact I started watching stampy as soon as he started making videos and still watch him to this day. His videos with his best pal squid and his iconic laugh still make me smile.
The most magical thing about this, is people are so nostalgic about Dan, Stampy, MMOs and the others’ worlds. And in ten years, people will look back at Pewds’ world the same.

as a mid 2010s kid these maps literally make me so happy
I'm a mid 2000's kid and minecraft was like 75% of my childhood
The Lab and the Challenge Games Arena are permanently ingrained in my mind when I think Minecraft. 2013 to 16 was when I really embraced Minecraft for what it was with Dan and Pat and Jen, those 3 convinced me to buy Minecraft ps3 edition which was my first. I still remember being a freshman in highschool in 2014, in the basement of my school cuz thats where my first period class was.
My teacher was super chill with letting us relax as long as we got our work done. While working on reading about stuff like Marco Polo or the history of Mesopotamia, I always had an earbud in my ear listening to Pat review some crazy mod on the Kindle Fire I had won in a contest in the orientation while also eating some stale sausage biscuits surrounded by sleepy friends who were busy with Minecraft World of Warcraft and Battlefield. It was perfect.
Damn, when you look back, its nearly 10 years since then and everythings changed.

I remember getting home from school every Wednesday afternoon and waiting for Saturday afternoon to arrive just so that I could get my dose of Stampy every week. That was a good time and an incredible era of Minecraft that made me so happy. I look back on it very fondly and am so grateful I got that in my childhood :)

The challenge arena was a surprise to see again, but another thing I was not expecting was the battle blocks theater theme

I just remember watching pats arena lucky block fights, didn't watch stampy that much but he inspired me to ask my mom for an xbox 360 for minecraft and i watched tons of dan tdm and all of his mod spotlights
