Hi there, Ben. Firstly, I’m so glad to know you started doing vids again about a month ago, Always enjoy them. You cover so many subjects that people really want to know about, especially if you’re kinda deep into the vinyl thing. It’s about 35 years for me 😂 Gonna start thinning the herd soon. Secondly, I am so sorry for your loss, Ben. I lost mine a bit over 2 years ago. (See, I can’t even say it). She was the best mom I could’ve ever asked for, and the best friend I could’ve ever had. I miss her dearly every day. I guess I’m just saying, I understand and there’s many people out there who also do. It’s obvious that you’re truly a very nice guy and a great person, and people can see that. All the best to you, Ben. 🔊😊🎶🙏💜
Thanks sir! The next few will be vinyl… but I will get to some digital stuffs as well! Thanks for the empathy… it is an impossible journey sometimes still…
@ Looking forward to the next view vids. I dig digital too. Got a nice transport I run into an old Adcom DAC that I upgraded and modified a bit. Just because something’s old, doesn’t mean it’s bad. Amplifier technology hasn’t really changed in decades, but the parts used to make them certainly got much better. Class A, A/B, D, maybe sometimes H? It sure can be a difficult journey. Ask the man upstairs to help, if you’re so inclined. Thanks, Ben. Appreciate you, dude. 🔊😊🎶
This Isolation Bubble kit has me excited. Looks like I have some reading to do. Need to see if this will work on my Pioneer PLX-1000 with a Nag MP 500 cart. Looking forward to hearing the results. After reading about it, it will work for a PLX-1000.
The foam in the feet box how many pieces? The tape you said for the platter is it like a spongy tape or just double-sided normal tape? I think I would just be inclined to use some blu tack instead of tape.try that see if there's any difference! The Houdini it's got a screw in the front so is it tilt-able? I would have thought so, if it is tilt able?? what you want to be, have your arm at the lowest possible setting vta not having the arm level with the platter or record, and tilt it to compensate the rake angle, also with the adjustable head shell shouldn't be a problem, I think that's how it's supposed to work that's how it should work anyway. you always want the pivot of the arm to be at platter level follows the grooves much better it's much better sonically, that was the golden rule with AR acoustics there is a paper out there all about it.

Will definitely work with your Pioneer it's virtually a techniques the glass platter will help with speed stability also that's why they use it
It will work on both! Comparison videos to follow!

Well they are like 2 sided scotch tape… Houdini is one piece… much more in coming videos
I didn't care for the Boing feet, personally, as I feel it created too much lateral movement. Plus, they're kinda ugly. IMO
Well I’m about to put them against the test… honestly I’m on a basement so almost a moot point
