On the song “The Proud” when Talib said “Kurt Loder asked me what I say to a dead cop's wife Cops kill my people everyday, that's life” that changed my entire view of policing. I thought about it and decided self defense or fearing for your life is a BS excuse for a cop. Then I did a ton of research. To me that is the most impactful line personally that exists in hip hop.
