I’m thinking of moving to Barboursville in Orange County. Does anyone know anything about it?

I worked in DC Meyro but lived in Amissville for a couple of years. Hated the commute but loved the countryside. Agree on the costs but SW virginia is a different animal. I'm back in Florida now and will be retiring soon. We have property in Ceres but considering new built homes closer to Bristol for ease of flying. Abingdon looks like a good bet, albeit home proces are getting comparable to Florida now.
