It actually was a major highway before the new highway was diverted. It was the only way to get to Sudbury from southern Ontario, unless you went through North Bay.
Me too. But it may just be a money issue in the end. It costs a lot of money to tear down a building(s) and clean up a property, so if an owner is bankrupt … it is probably cheaper to just let it rot. And if the property is private, there’s not much a township can do. Sadly
I have just spent a ridiculous amount of time watching your videos. You are my new favourite human. Don't stop.
Thanks Rebecca! My favourite comment ever! 🤗
Just went by it today. Totally collapsed but still cool to look at😮
Noooo! Thats so unfortunate, but not surprising considering the location and the extreme weather it faces annually.

It’s nice to see this video I was there one time in 2019 after seeing it in the said of the highway
I've always wondered how places like this can sit without being cleaned up by the owner or township or whomever the responsibility falls to

I was just there 5/ 27/ 2022 , there's no more up stairs, totally collapsed from the winter snow load.
Awww, that sucks. But I’m actually shocked it remained intact all this time!
