Glad I saw that they put some peppercorns in from the factory. Just received mine from Amazon and thought it was a returned one as it already had peppercorns in it.
I'd tried other Peugeot models over the years and never liked them well enough to buy one, but several months ago I tried a U'Select model and it was love at first grind. I bought a Peugeot Paris U'Select mill in chocolate color for pepper, and a stainless-steel model for salt. They not only work well, but they're beautiful to look at. I couldn't be happier.

What model did you get? I bought two Paris U'Select ones (one for salt and one for pepper) a few months ago, and I love them.
