Thanks for this. I don't even know what to think right now. I found 2 huge book of stamps last weekend, had to be my grandfather and/or great grandfathers collection. Few of these in this video I have, in very good near mint condition (No famous Inverted plane sadly). Saw a WIDE range of values though online. Taking them to a pro today..want to see what he thinks. I know there are a lot in these books that are most likely worthless, but there has to be a few worth decent money (being optimistic over here) But my mind has been spinning after hours of researching on so many of these stamps in the last 2 weeks.

Your 40 stamp sheet of 29 cent Elvis stamps is worth $11.60 as usable postage. If you were to try to it to a stamp dealer, you would be lucky to get $8, because that is what they will pay you for unused stamps still usable for postage, generally 60-75% of face value. And if you bought them when they were new, then you have lost even more money than that, because when they were new, you could mail a first class letter for 29 cents, so you could send it with one of these, but now you'd either have to use 2 of them (and waste 8 cents) or somehow come up with an additional 21 cents worth of stamps. The most valuable part of that package is probably the frame!

I have done stamp collecting and personally seen this stamp a ton of times. The inverted ones are definitely worth a lot and I am sure all the ones in this video sold for the prices mentioned but I wish he went into detail about why they are worth so much on more than just the inverted ones. Just wanted to let you know so you don’t think you have a bunch of super amazing stamps when they are actually nothing special. It’s really to sad to see that this video is like this because his coin videos are usually really good.

I've watched video after video about the value of some of these stamps. I have over 5 one cent used Benjamin Franklin stamps still on the envelope or postcards. Mailed in the early 1900's... I'm interested in cashing in on these old valuble stamps. Need your assistance on this. There are to many fakes out there and I know for sure these are not.

All prices vary on many factors. Look up sold listings on ebay to see what similar ones have sold for in the past.
