Change to US English and US region to get Notes transcription.

AND when you change back to your own region the transcription mode remains.

It is buggy and the WiFi and the signal is very weak. I do like you can see a message is delivered on an android phone.

Did they make any changes to Dictation?

Yeah, starting with iOS 17 they broke a lot of things in text dictation in my language. For example, the commands such as “New Line”, “New Paragraph”, "Long dash", "Non-breaking space", etc. are no longer recognized.

Agreed, iOS 18 beta is very buggy. A lot of overheating
