To anyone sitting on the fence in regards to supporting John on patreon, Ive been happily supporting him since he started his patreon page. The quality and the amount of content he makes available cant be beaten. Id highly recommend doing it because you really are getting value for money, especially compared to other larger youtubers. Also hit the subscribe button its costs nothing.
A couple of interesting facts about Kerosene and Paraffin. 1. Kero is the Greek word for wax. 2. Kerosene is a less refined form of Paraffin, which rends to produce more smoke and soot. For industrial use (eg. as engine fuel), it makes little difference, but for household use (stoves, lamps, heaters etc.), the more highly refined Paraffin is preferred.
If your boss drew the caricatures himself, then he’s got some real talent there. I think after all your work with the blowlamp, it would be a shame if you didn’t actually use it on a soft- or silver-soldering job at some point. Would make a good video.
Nice work John and well done for getting Deb's blow lamp working.
Love the caricatures….captures a really good likeness of you both…
Thanks John
Thought the blow lamp resurrection was gonna last longer than the DFS sale !
Well done getting it working.
Great video John, keep'um coming.
