- Boyz II Men interview on September 12, 2000. They sang a live 'A cappella' version of their song "I Do" from their 2000 album "Nathan Michael Shawn Wanya". The interviewer is Bryant Gumbel, co-anchor of the morning show 'The Early Show'. Jane Clayson, who appeared at the end of the clip, is also a co-anchor on the show.

I dont know how Shawn still says that Michael's leaving the group didnt affected their sound... I mean, just listen to this and u can see that it surely did.
Shawn was capping. There’s beef for sure. To say Michael just did voice overs or adlips that was disappointing and disrespectful. Nathan can do bass though he’s naturally a baritone. Michael left a huge void the the baritone and bass harmony is no longer there anymore
Shawn never said that. He said Mike leaving affected their live sound, but not their production and arranging.
The reason why he said that is because Nate would write all the bass parts. So from a production standpoint, Mike's leaving the group wasn't a hug deal.

This right here!!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩 They are singing effortlessly! The harmonious, Nathan’s lead vocals, Shawn and Wanya blending so perfectly but stilling being able to hear Wanya’s runs throughout their harmonies, and Michael’s bass vocal is the icing on the cake 🙌🏽
