Excellent information on how to remove the battery and screen. However, I think you should have gone through the entire process showing the re-assembly procedure. If I hadn't seen other videos I would be left in the dark somewhat. Also, I learned from another video that not all of the screws are identical. For instance, the two screws that hold the battery connector cover plate are different sizes and are not interchangeable.
Great guide. The only caveat I would add is that successfully pulling the adhesive strips without breaking them is an ideal situation. I followed the instructions and they still broke. Perhaps with some patience, and going reeeeeeaaaaalllllly slow, you might be able to get them without breaking. The prying of the battery wasn't easy, but it worked. And furthermore: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NEW ADHESIVE STRIPS. I didn't.
Removing the adhesive strips didn't work for me, either. I used a small screwdriver to pry up the end of the battery (away from its cable end) enough to slide a thin wood ruler under the battery and gradually wedged the battery out of the case. The adhesive strips were left stuck to the case rather than the battery, so they were easy to re-use.

Really great video! And it shows that they had fixed the problem with the iPhone 5 glue in the back of the battery.

the adhesive tape ripped on both sides so I guess i don't have a choice but to try and pry the batter out and hope it doesn't puncture now!

I couldn't get the white tape under the battery out. It cut off as I was trying to pull it, both of them What can I do?
