I like it. Sea Hunter is a top notch boat. Having more cat hull options is a great thing. I want a pilot house version so you can stay out of the weather and sleep on it for more than a day trip.
Worldcat then Freeman upped the ante big time then Invincible made a cat and now Sea Hunter Awesome choices for us all now and the competition is getting fierce with these new boats. Now I just need to win the lotto...
I’d say this is faster hull than the freeman but not as smooth because of the aysemetrical hull but none the less a sexy boat and another to add in this segment
@@TheKCaryer Already posted on their website as you stated. I can’t tell the difference between Verado 400 vs Verado 400R. Assuming its cheaper vs expensive internal parts
$700k for a $200k investment, that's a hell of profit. They're sticking it to the people who can actually get that loan for $700k. I just don't understand all this overpricing on boats.
@@prohen3049 whats to understand when a truck is 100 grand and I iPhone cost $1000 when you can buy 65 inch TV for 500 Do you know why it cost that much because they can!
You need to put more interior photos of all your models on your website, you mention how great the interior is but there's no pictures of anything in the cabins.
they are all well well boats but they all have the same problem, tunnel design is not on standard and still old school ,But further its well designed and good quality .I might show something soon
Hard to say without knowing their overhead. Even with high end composite materials the cost of the actual hull and deck isn't that much (they make it sound like super high tech stuff but compared to the cost of building the boat it doesn't cost that much more to do carbon and certainly not kevlar), but the tooling to build them can be pretty expensive and so they have to amortize that over many boats. You'd need to know if they own their building, or if they have loans, what their factory overhead is in labor, insurance, etc..then office staff... - plus how many boats they make a year that it is spread over. If you added up all the physical parts you'd probably say to yourself that they are making a killing, but if the factor in all the other costs you might be surprised. I think they probably have a pretty big margin because they don't build a lot of boats. A lot of boat companies are run like shit too so you never really know, or if they sell through dealers/brokers their dealers/brokers take too much of the profit.
@@commanderrussels2612 yea i just wonder because i feel like its the same as the wedding phenomenon. Charge more just because u know people will pay. Order a cake for a bday party 80 bucks, order the same cake but tell them its for a wedding 450 bucks. I feel they do the same for boats.
@@WillieWalnuts There is some of that for sure, but there is also a big difference between a quality boat and a poorly made one - and it is something that doesn't come through in the videos. It's how well it is actually put together, from the finish work to how things are mounted to the rigging and all the little details. I've never been on a SeaHunter so I don't really know what these are like. There are a lot of boats that look good from far, but are far from good when you get up close. One thing I will say for sure is that larger boats have higher profit margins. It doesn't cost much more to make a 41ft boat than it does a 36ft, a bit more material, but basically all the same systems. What does this thing cost?
I agree 100%. Although I’m not in the market for a big offshore ocean running boat. I live on the Great Lakes and even to buy a new 28’ CC your looking at 250k. I just do not understand who is buying these boats??? Where are people getting the money to buy a 700k boat with zero over night features and next to no seating. There’s no way, they have over 250k into that boat. Yet it will sell for close to 700k. Gosh,, what an amazing world we live in today!
@@colinmcconville5873 I think the middle class buying power is getting weaker, that's who used to buy the 150k stuff. The people who can afford to buy boats like this now are ultra wealthy, so they might as well make boats for that demographic. They can't sell them on volume so they have to bump up the price and do low volume production, targeting the super wealthy. It's not even the 1% that are getting wealthier - they are staying about the same really, it's the 0.1% that are getting uber-wealthy.
Seahunter needs to take over the 30-32 market and make a 31 cat that runs twins for people who don't want to burn quad fuel and spend $600k on a boat.
Prowler has a 29 Cat that should be pretty nice in development right now.
I don't know mate, 600k is a good price for a 41 footer. Boston whaler 420 outrage costs well over 1m.
Where did you get $600k from? Outfitted with engines, electronics, and a tower... add quite a bit to that number.
Check out the Horizon 3000 from Eastward Boats

Too bad the competition won't drive the prices down.
Freeman getting some competition at least we got 2 company with balls
These videos make me want to order one right now.
I think that with every boat video I watch Lol.
I'd sure like to see this offered with a cabin for the real outdoors here in the PNW. Awesome hull design, beautiful cat!!
The foam filled unsinkable part goes a long way with me.
Freeman time to bring that price down! Nothing like some good ole free market competition!
With the long freeman waitlist, quite a few people will start opting for these new models.
Beautifully crafted...but troll into a tight chop with any of them and that tunnel will bottom out and slam
A center console from Seahunter almost sank in FL. Check out facebook for more reports. The boat had a large crack underneath!
That's only one drop. The oceans tough waves banging that double hull will crack it

Aaaaaawsome vid and job guys 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻👌🏻
What you do not see in the video is the Freeman out front so far the seas have laid down
that drop test made me shiver inside
Beautiful boat!!
FREEMAN baby!!! Nuff Said!!
If only they didn't cost as much as three of my houses.
EDIT: I saw that those are quad 400s, so four of my houses.
Heard Merc is going to move the 400 from Mercury Racing to Mercury Marine and offer the 5-yr warranty.
@@TheKCaryer Still costs more than my house and plane combined.

Its beautiful but looks bumpy through those small swells. That monster should plow through them easier. My opinion
Nice but I'm waiting on someone to offer a pilot house version and access into sponsons for a full head and berths.
Curtis Hopkins everyone is waiting on that it will come!
I'm posting this link as a 'what if" for inspiration.

Really would like to sea these boats in some lest than desirable weather
I don't think there are enough rod holders on that tub. LOL
Looks like a Freeman, Hull has design implementations like the Freeman! Who’s the true innovator?
I love the Carolina flair idea...but why not incorporate that into the design and keep the full beam from tip to stern?
nice.....ill be there to ride it at MIBS....you guy's going to let me?
Very nice.
Nice center console!
I do like the strength test
These boats are great and all but who can afford something like this
Didn't a SeaHunter nearly sank offshore in FL due to a defect in the hull?
Best ever
Amazing👍
Wonder how they compare to the Freeman Cats
I don’t no I’m a Regulator guy
When will Bernie do a walk through???? Forget it. Get Rob to do it.
You know they bought a freeman and de-constructed it before they built this boat lol 😂
Do you have a Version also with a Cabin in the front?
Freeman be like: pffft
Do fish really care what kind of boat we're in?
No but your body does when the seas get rough!!
per hour minimum 200 to over 400 liters. Are 300 to 600 euros per hour. crazy 😝

Clearly planned for actual fishing ! rod holders everywhere .
But how much do these boats really cost to make? 1/4 what they sell for? Less?? Does anyone know?

Gay version a freeman what a way to hop on the wagon 😬

Freeman copy right
knock off
Cool boat. Music sucks...
