The burner should also be cleaned from time to time. Food particles often fall on the burner and clogs the pores. It can be done by scrubbing the burner with wire brush. The burner can be tempered to remove all impurities. Your method will internally clean the supply pipes.

Bro Glynis , the orange pipe has an inner metal linning ...it's like a metal netted pipe coated with an orange rubber insulator. It's a common gas pipe here in India. There are expensive ones which are completed metal netted ones. But both are equally safe
Even i was concerned about tat only coz even i have orange pipe with metal clamp n it can only be removed by gas serviceman...

Is the Amount of orange flame on this stove normal?
My burner heads don't seem to sit properly on the stoves and gas flame is not stable due to the extra space created. Any idea Sir how to solve this issue ? Thank you.

What about the jet nozzle ? Pumping Air will not dislodge the dust stuck in the jet. It needs to be cleaned using a pin to keep the minute hole open.
