I made five trips to Kigali between 2010-2015. Within 24 hours after arriving the first time, I knew I could easily live there. The feeling only grew over the years with each visit.

I absolutely love this house. My plan was to get there by May, but 7 days quarantine I can’t handle at this time, so will have to wait. A suggestion for a walk-in closet. They could make a walk-in closet just like the space like the pantry, if it’s even for the master bedroom. The yard is beautiful with two side grass/ garden space. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ it. 🌺💕🇯🇲/🇱🇷

It's very cheap. Really good price for the view and size. Cost of living is very low in Kigali compare to Luanda (Angola) and Kinshasa (DRC).
It's not called cheap, but affordable. And the #1 reason things are cheap in Rwanda, it is because of locals making almost 95% of what you see, even roads are constructed by locals. Meanwhile in Angola, and RDC, most of things are run by foreigners. Think of China versus US. Angola & RDC being United States .
The main thing is the kitchen set up and the bathroom counter space etc. They do need some better utilization of the space
It seems like every house there has an incredible view! The pandemic has delayed me, but I'm still working on getting there. Can't wait!

My little sister just returned from Senegal and Ghana a few days ago..and I leaving for Cairo and Ethiopia next month when u return we will meet to discuss which is best!

Its the way most houses are built here .
Am from Ghana and that is how it is also built here.normally we don’t think of the fire 🔥 but how to prevent thief entering.
Also the fires over there are not as bed as in the west were everything just blows up in seconds because of the wood and the paint

It is for security reasons.
In developing nations, security is always a priority, even in low to zero crime neighbourhoods.
No matter how secured an area is in most African countries we prioritize security and place iron bars.

I am an African by birth, love everything African. But I repeat, these lumber house in America as you call them, lasts an awfully long time, because you know why, the maintenance culture in the west is nothing to sneeze at.
Mortgage scams only works against people who want to live large on a small income. If you cut your coat according to your size, you will be okay.
