I have to add my praise for your wheelie stars Christmas quilt. It's absolutely stunning! And I thought the little white dots on your Ho Ho pillow looked like snowflakes. The Oak Moth pattern you showed is so cool. If I can finish a few of the quilts I'm working on, I'll reward myself with the kit for that one.
I really enjoyed hearing your thought processing on navigating your quilt adventures! It definitely helped me to define some plans for next year! I’m going to have to watch this again after all my Christmas company leaves to reset my brain! Loved you enthusiasm and joy! I love watching your quilting videos, such inspiration. And learning, I took what you said about using the dark color thread on the bottom when you were quilting, cause I was planning to do that exact thing on a quilt I’m making for my granddaughter. So I made a fake quilt sandwich to check my results. What I ended up doing was changing the lower tension on my machine so that I only got the top thread on the top and the bottom thread on the bottom. So thank you so much for sharing that . your oasis quilt is absolutely fabulous. You should be very proud of yourself which you obviously are love watching you giggle.
I want that Christmas wheel quilt - yeah sure you'll give it to me - how about if I pay? Just kidding. So much work went into it. And that backing is genius - great idea. It is truly gorgeous. Hi Laura, thanks for another wonderful video. A quick fix for the bobbin thread showing is to colour the showing threads with sharpy permanent marker in red (in your case).

I understand the Air planes , we were in the Air Force for 9.5 yrs and 4 of the years we live next to the flight line where they worked on the B52’s so it got really loud but we got use to it but family would come to visit and they got scared , it was a little funny , love all your quilts so beautiful , I love love love a scrappy back so beautiful almost like having sleeping under two quilts that only you know about I always come away from your UTube wanting to get busy on my projects ❤🎄Merry Christmas 🎄

That king sized quilt is amazing - what is the name of the pattern? the backing, which I call an “after quilt” is what I do with all my scraps from the front of my quilts - they are always so unique. When you are doing a pieced back it is like you are piecing in memories to your quilt. I love it!
