Bach es el padre de la música, sus obras siblimes llegan al alma, saludos desde Chile 🎼🎶❤
Bach was just too way ahead of his time, it is so modern even within the confines of Baroque music. The long slow oboe movement just confounds the mind.
Gesualdo Consort delivers some of the most inspiring performances of Bach's cantatas I have heard. Bravo!
A beautiful performance. Many thanks to everyone. 👍❤️
The organ Prelude and Fugue in D Minor were very nice "bookends," as well.
BWV 539 How I regret the use of adult trebles of either sex with too rich harmonic development when boy trebles with purer toe at least CAN BE so superior, though the ignorance of today's music scene too often hinders that.
Beautiful! All voices are clear. The accompaniment by orchestra is compact and excellent.
I really enjoyed seeing this cantata sung and played in this 'authentic' church setting and with concluding prayer and enclosed by the organ work. Ausgezeichnet !
If it was 'authentic' then they'd have a church sexton or choirboy pumping the air into the organ and not using electricity. One day someone will perform these works as Bach intended.
@@grahamnancledra7036 Not counting the likes of John Elliot Gardiner, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Philippe Herreweghe, Ton Koopman, Gustav Leonhardt, Max Pommer, Masaki Suzuki.......
@@grahamnancledra7036 and forget this weak covid bullshit, a real performance should involve an encounter _with plague_ ! 💀
With a choir of eight! One sees how Bach managed to produce wonders with a parish choir!
Wunderschön! Splendid!
A marvelous performance in an authentic church setting.
Sencillamente maravillosa.
Wunderschön! Alle Stimmen sind klar. Die Orchesterbegleitung ist kompakt und ausgezeichnet.
I was surprised at the opening of this Cantata, which I knew as the Kirie of the mass BWV 235. The always beautiful musical parodies in Bach!
l'orgue est très beau et l'organiste très bien
dans un cadre remarquable aussi.
Bravo
René
D'accord entierement.
Paradise regained. For whom is awake. ''Wachet auf, ruft uns Bach's Stimme'' !

Most fitting ambiance. The whole, music and ambiance, amazingly beautiful and serene.
Wat een ongehoord prachtig orgel voor Bach !!!!!! Perfect. Opnamekwaliteit: of ik er bij ben, daar. Fantastisch. Dank avro-tros kl.
Sensível e Emocionante. Divine Bach
Bach nous aide à survivre et à vivre à une époque où il n'est question que de VIRUS.
It is well aqppreciated once more!
Ja mooi!
Gorgeous!!!!
belle prestation !
ביצוע מרשים !!!
I'm sorry to say this, but I find the male alto a very weak link. There is totally no text-ephasize or just common sense how to finish a sentence. The only reason people want him to sing is because of the color of his voice, not because of the way he sings.
Well, I'm sorry and happy to say this, but: you're wrong. Lots of people actually really appreciate my way of singing, especially regarding text and expression... Of course, you don't have to. But it's not that constructive, emphasizing Christianity in your videos on one hand, but on the other hand writing criticism like that - is it?
(And btw: finishing a sentence in German might be a little bit out of your area of expertise?!)
Anyway: enjoy the music and be blessed.
@@daviderler_alto This seems a pointless discussion. As far as I know the altos in Bach's choral/vocal compositions (outside the home or the coffee shop) were boys, not men singing falsetto (and much less castrati!!). On paper neither modern male altos nor female contraltos are historically accurate in this repertoire, tho' I know which I would prefer to hear singing the music of Bach, in the absence of competent schoolboys who, generally anyway, do not have the maturity to do the music justice, authentic tho' they might be.
What a lovely church!
