Being a widow and in my 70's and no family I have stocked up on all things and now will be moving in with a childhood friend in the same boat as I am! Will I miss my own home YES! But in my heart I know this is something we both need. So I feel quite thankful I was raised as you were. I now am stocking up on seeds for next year knowing this will help both of us I have 2 small frezzers I am bringing and we both know how to can so between the 2 of us I think we can survive much better than just 1 of us apart. Thank you for telling ALL of us what we don't want to know but need to.
Just paid off our 19 year house TODAY Patera!! No debt….. ever again!! Preparing for a coming case lot sale on two months. Organizing the pantry and restocking. Preparing for anything coming….
Back at you Patara. THANK YOU for YOUR loyalty to us and your commitment to helping us make it through these hard times and even harder times yet to come! You are one special lady. 🥰 Following you for almost 2 yrs and you have definitely motivated me. Love all the critters!
I'm very grateful for all I have put away & content providers like you. I've been stocking up since the long lines & supply chain problems started back in March 2020. Always reminded both all of those in my life that never took preparedness seriously, that undoubtedly will need assistance when it finally hits the fan. You are an inspiration to many. Thanks 🙏 😊
Just want to brag on my hubby...at 47 he is about to finish his mechanical contractors license! This will help our family in so many ways. It's been a tough road, but he has pushed through school while having two jobs!
Patara, I’ve made my pantry and I’m rotating and adding. God has blessed me recently with the ability to pay off my credit cards and cancel them. The money I was paying the credit cards I’m now saving as much as possible. I’ve tried a spring, summer, fall garden and have failed with all three but God willing I’m not giving up. You are a blessing!! Thank you so much for your honesty and STRONG FAITH IN OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!!!❤
@Sunnyfl2840 Don’t be discouraged about gardening. It sounds much easier than it is. I have had better results with containers for my favorite vegetables. Keep after it, you’ll get there.
I was recently visiting a friend who pays no attention to food prices and doesn’t even go to the store to shop, just orders online and has the order delivered. I was telling her how I spent the day canning ground beef I had found on sale. She laughed and said she knew where to come when the stores no longer had food. I looked her in the eye and said no you won’t.

Yep. But it's not just you. It's everything. They care about NOTHING other than that glowing light in front of their faces. And that glowing light will be gone soon enough. Then they'll have to learn the old ways from the old folks - or die.

Hey, Barb. 70 year old here. Still working Learning herbalism, stocking up, etc. We just moved over an hour away from the "city,". Feeling really tired, really down, but trying to focus on the goal of sustaining ourselves. Never thought I'd be in this predicament at this point in my life. Buried both parents within the last 4 years. Mom first, then Dad last year. Have ,9 siblings, only one of whom are doing the same as I am. God love you. Keep on trucking!
I'm having my generator checked out to ensure my freezer can be used in a power outage. I'm also having a gas line put in for a backup propane heater. My place is slowly but surely coming together. I'm planning to take some of my meat out of the freezer and can it. I'm getting some venison jerky too!! Everyone batton down the hatches.
What a great book you got. That’s now a family heirloom to pass on to children and grandchildren. Highlight your people and add the book to your ancestry paperwork. ♥️ such a thoughtful gift.
Patara, I believe the older generation understands more of what is going on than the younger generation does. Not putting them down but they don’t seem to care as much. As long as their lives are not disturbed they go on about their business. Keep preaching and informing us. Love ya girl.
Unfortunately the lack of understanding and their refusal to critically think will be why they don't survive. I don't say this out of meaness but it is reality. The education the schools teach and have taught for 30+ years have totally re written American history so there is nothing to be proud of being American
That’s the beauty of being young. We never worried about anything because we were inexperienced. I wouldn’t take that away from any young person for any reason. You are so right-I was able to get my car paid off this month with little bits of money I saved over time, boy that was a great day for me. I was so proud of myself for reaching that goal. Also bought a pressure canner and I’ve been doing meats, vegetables, etc. Make my own fermented honey/garlic that I take everyday. Buy clothes and things I need at local thrift stores, crochet my own hats and hand warmers. I feel blessed-I really do. Have a good night-gonna check out that video.
We have a friend who is a senior Navy Officer. He gets highly classified intelligence briefings everyday. All I can say is be prepared the week before Christmas.
Talking about your grandfather's. Patara I've got to tell you. We've been updating my grandparents 70's built house, and I started finding all this cute "farmhouse" furniture that's so popular right now, and got some to put in here. It hit me 2 nights ago that for one, that stuff just doesn't look right in here. 2, I've got antiques shoved in the attic and top cabinets jammed full. These aren't collected antiques, it's things my family owned that i could never get rid of. I sold a ton of this new stuff on market place last night and started dragging out all the old stuff. And boy is it looking amazing in here. My heart is so happy.
We will be putting our 25 acre Oregon debt free homestead into high production the next several years. We already produce 60 percent of our own food and started generating and storing our own electricity last year for the house, outbuildings and electric car charging. Cant drill for oil on my homestead but can generate electricity, grow food and pump water. Harder times are coming.
Thank You Patara! Yes! Time is short. I thank you for the encouragement to keep moving and keep prepping. I'm 71 and have beeen "storing up" and getting ready for many years now. My pantry is stocked full as a tic and have now moved on the the last and most expensive part of my prepping FREEZE DRIED FOODS. My Phase 1 food = store bought and garden fresh DONE! Phase 2 canned and ready tin meats and veggy's of all types including condiments, spices and some vitamins, medical and personal hygiene. Phase 3 = all freeze dried foods, meats, veggy's, fruits that offer long shelf life. Cannot afford a freeze dryer so I purchase what I can each month to sock pkgs. away. My husband works on stocking the hard scape stuff, oil, tools, tarps, screws, nails, lumber etc. You encourage me to keep going, prepairing for the unknown. When I feel like enough is enough you push me even more. We all don't know what is upon us but as I put stuff away I also pray over our supplies that if I am gone to glory it will nurish and help someone in need. Thank You again, you have been a blessing to me and my husband.
You are saying what I have been telling people for over twenty years. As a minister, we have kept our ministry OUT OF DEBT and we are also out of debt. AND, we have encouraged wpople to LEARN skills they can use to survive and to also build a home pantry. It is going to be bad---and I would not be surprised if it is the anniversary of the Crash of '29. And I agree---IT WILL BE WORSE!!
Me and my husband are literally having to live with my parents on there farm because we can't afford to pay for a mortgage because it's to expensive and we are starting family garden this coming spring and preparing more by having more chickens and pigs then we do now! I love your videos and I've been putting food up and we are completely out of debt thank God!
About 6 yrs ago, I told my husband my dream was to be completely debt free and house paid off by the time I was 40 or he was 40 (whichever came first). He told me I was crazy! :-) The Lord called us to Tennessee in 2022. We are completely out of debt- completely! And my husband turns 40 end of December. We are considered the "young people" . We are very awake to what is going on in our country. So much so that our families think we are a little nuts. We are preparing accordingly for what is to come. In my opinion it's a mixed group of young, middle, older aged people who are awake to what's going on. My parents are not doing any prep or any of our relatives. They are all older. All they say is that Jesus is coming back and there is nothing to worry about. I trust the Lord 100%. But he also gave me wisdom to prep for a stormy day. I don't want to get to heaven and ask the Lord why he allowed me to starve to death. He would say, "Girl, I gave you an acre of land,a gun, seeds and glass jars. It was your choice for starving to death."
You're a blessing Patara. We're doing better than we expected at the edge of retirement, but we're scared for what may come and worry for our community. The fable of the ant and the grasshopper is upon us.
When I first opened the video I wasn't sure if I was going to hear from Patara or her cousin. Watching your kids roust about with one another brings me such joy. I don't know why, but it just does. Maybe it exemplfies simplicity. The flag is very festive. I was surprised how many holiday colors it contained without the word Christmas. The flag focuses on the truest meaning of Christmas, Jesus. From the cradle to the cross, Jesus saves.
My granddaughter just gave birth to twin boys and I am so proud and scared at the same time! I fear for their future and what type of world these kids are going to grow up in. I know God is in control and I do trust in the Lord but when I am consistently seeing all of the evil in this world, it’s hard not to worry. Please pray for our kids and our country. We have to turn back to the Lord in these trying times.
Our younger generations - 50 and below, have never experienced any kind of hardship. They were just too young in the 1980’s to have a glimmer of what is coming. The other problem is our educational system, history is non existent . They just don’t know what they don’t know. My prayers are with all of you. Thank you Patera.
Shrug, sold my sports car this year. Was urged to keep it, because everyone knew I loved that car. But at the end of the day, it's an asset, and liability as time goes on. So, didn't get what I wanted for it, but I'm not having to store it, or worry about damage, insurance and all that. It's gone, money in the bank, and I can live for a year and a half on what it brought. It's another layer of my security net. Shrug, yes, everything could fall apart tomorrow. Lol, and I could get run over by a bread truck. So what? There reaches a point where you can't be a worry wart. Do the best you can, don't forget to live along the way. And get buried face down, so people can kiss your ass easier if they don't like the way you did things.
Canned chicken stock and baked pumpkin cookies with orange icing today! I call chicken stock like penicillin when I get under the weather! I like to keep a bit extra on hand especially in the winter time. Crocheting afghans. I’ve made 2 this year and 3 rd is nearly finished. I give them as gifts and use them myself. Your darling goats are growing so fast! So cute!❤ Blessings!
Thank you Patara. I love you so much. You’re a light for us in this dark world. I believe we’re in a silent depression. Watch the videos about the empty stores on Black Friday morning. I myself didn’t participate. In my small town people are begging for money for gas, food, and bills on the daily. It’s so close to coming down and I believe it’s much closer. Im hearing cash will be worthless by 12/25/23. My advice is stock up as best you can. Most importantly is make sure you’re right with Jesus.
Over Thanksgiving we were surprised by some family members that are now prepping and protecting😉. We had a request from another individual if we would share knowledge and things we are doing to be prepared. I will continue to pray for those who aren't getting it. Praying God will continue to wake people up. Tks for your info and encouragement.
Unfortunately, many of those who have never gone without cannot relate to what's around the corner. Therefore they often could care less... until the reality slaps them out of their stupor. Then, all bets are off for the rest of us.
All I can do is be thankful for everyday I have to save and prepare. No matter how little, a few cans of beans, a few dollars, or an ounce of silver…I’m grateful for another day to prepare.
I’ve trying to pay off debts, 2 credit cards. Mortgage free. Fixed income. So I’m stocking up and I will keep going at it. Can’t work, disabled now almost 70. Will be ready as best we can. God has us in His hands.
Genealogy is so interesting. It’s wonderful that you can know so many aspects of your family. Mine all came from Europe so it’s not as easy to find things out. Glad you feel better. Take care. ♥️
I was talking to a Lady the other dsy and she didnt even know about anything. Like none of the things that keep us up at night. Theres been a few people like that. Unfortunately i hit a hard spot in life and burnt through much of my preps in the last 7 months. Im working to replenish now but my 2 year supply ended up being about 8 months worth in real life. Just like firewood, when you think you have enough, double that.
I saw a young doe running across the neighbors yard this morning .I went and bought a buddy heater at Walmart and took another 100. Out to put in pile for hard time
I wish I could get my husband to understand what's coming down the pike, but I'm just a Conspiracy Theorist 😕. It's hard to get ready for ANYTHING with a person like that. 😢
That book was an amazing n such a Thoughfull gift.. And let me tell you, girl, those cute little hearts are too.. Before you said anything.. I was thinking arnt those earrings adorable.. They look so good on you.. ..The kind you wear.. so sweet of whoever sent them..your so loved, girl❤😊
Faithfully watch Jay. The video you're talking about is excellent. Affirmed that my plan is on the right track. Prepare to receive your loved ones into your home and do the best you can. ❤
Patera I'm glad you bring this all to the forefront I personally think that the collapse is taking steps slow at first and then faster near the final blow that is only my Outlook I don't know how many other people feel like this
I have not lived a perfect life , I have sinned pretty bad a couple of times. Im so ashamed now ,I'm not sure what I was thinking back then. I have prayed so hard for God to forgive me and to use me for good in whatever way he sees fit. I just pray I'm lucky enough to make it to heaven and im ready
My parents went through the 1929 depression. The difference between then and now, that I see, is the distance from God. This country & the world has fallen into a great darkness and without a return to God, in my honest opinion, I don't see a recovery from what's coming. I'm just being honest. We need to continuously pray and prepare... Pray when you're cleaning, pray when you're cooking and thank God for the blessings that we have. Love you all and love one another 🙏❤
You need to understand Patara, you provide a service to us, I get a sense of peace from you and I thank you for being here for us. You are a woman of courage and I admire you for the strength you emulate and allow me to feel a bit of courage myself. Thank you!!
Thankfully I found you a couple years ago Patara. Had I not listened to you in that time I’d be starving right now! It is a mind set! I have invited my son & his family to move in here and they accepted! My last paycheck comes in 2weeks. They’ll be here & I’ll be able to pay my house & car payments! God works in wondrous ways, does He not! I also have to say. The chili sauce I canned last year is the bomb! It was YOUR encouragement that helped me to even attempt it! Thank you Patara!
I just love following creators like you. It shows people how much love is still in the world. Good people are the norm but the others stand out and make the news making it seems like bad character is the norm. I really enjoy your videos. I'm learning a lot and my hope for the rest of our time here increasing.❤
I have so much debt at the age of 71 that it is scary. I have a mortgage with lots of equity but not enough income to support an equity loan to consolidate debts. I am currently looking for work to help me with the cc debts. I love your podcast and have heard some very helpful things on your channel. Keep doing what you are doing❤
Right with you Patara. Going to make a suggestion, encourage you to look into getting a ham radio license. Great alternative way to communicate and keep up with what's going on in the world.
Walked to Safeway tonight. Basically i needed some deodorant. Decided to get can opener ( might need em to open the #10 cans) some raspberry preverves ( for sandwiches) The bill (oh yeah a, and one hard cider). Bill? Just under $ 38. Serious? 4 items at a "grocery store" .....36$??
Patara, I have a family book that goes back to 1634. Earlier than that in Holland. Way back when New York was called New Amsterdam. My family kept sheep and were spinners, and made spinning wheels. The male members all served in militia and military. One directly under George Washington and was at Valley Forge. I understand how proud you are of your family, and I love to hear about them too! I hope you feel better soon. If you are interested, you can look up Fairbanks House in Dedham MA. Yes, they were Northerners. 😅
Play a game with yourself. Turn off the electricity, gas, gasoline, access to stores, and someone to bale you out. Now can you survive? Difficult? Yes. But basically it throws us back to the 1800’s. If you can make it through this for a while until life gets restablished then you would be prepared for so many of the scenarios that the future may throw at us.
If the economic collapse doesnt happen till 2030 now would be an awful good time to plant some fruit trees guys! just sayin! i grew up always having fruit trees so maybe i am biased but my fruit trees i planted in the pandemic are already giving me fruit so, food for thought.
The last few days my throat has felt funny kinda like getting sick so I started taking my elderberry syrup twice a day!! I need to invest some starts I buy it from a local farm but lord it’s mighty expensive
Santa Klaus and the WEF have shared their timeline for Reset, 15min cities, so forth by 2030, so it may be dangerous to tarry that long in our expectations of the big collapse...
I just became a widow this week. Still difficult for me to say widow. I’m a prepper. I listen to you and believe what you say.

Given a stark reality check, I'm wondering how she accepted the news, aside from turning red in the face, my guess.

While shopping at Aldi the other day, I overheard a younger man tell a woman to buy "5 extra cans". I hope he watches your channel. 😊
Every time I'm in the can isle, I hear Patara saying.....
"Get 5 cans." Lol
So I get 5 cans, so glad i did.
🍺😁👍
Me too! 🤣 and I walkways do.
I bet he does!
We have a friend who is a senior Navy Officer. He gets highly classified intelligence briefings everyday. All I can say is be prepared the week before Christmas.
He shouldn’t be sharing classified info with you…. Very curious
Thank you for the heads up!
Doesn’t sound specific enough to break confidentiality @@MFV77
If you are telling the truth then you just ratted him out ! 😂😂😂
Thanks for the heads up,
Talking about your grandfather's.
I haven’t watched his video yet, but I feel like we’re out of time. Not in 5 years, but now. Maybe 5 years from now it will be absolute rock bottom.
I agree!
Does anyone else get a really bad feeling about Gavin Newsom?
Watching, listening and prepared, still preparing more. I can only count on those over 50.
I could spend the whole day watching those baby goats play. Love ya Patara and the animals. ❤️ 💕 🇺🇸
Hard times. I would say judgment on this country. Remember YAHUSHA said he judges nations. Its coming.
The Lord called us to Tennessee in 2022.
Gen X will be fine. Not sure about the rest after 1980.
@@HungryHobbit12Fully agree.
Born in 1990 and I prep for my family and garden. Not all of us are clueless. I also work full time sometimes 15 hr days.
Those are cute earrings! Love the color! Looks good on you.
Pumpkin cookies, yummy
Who trusts the government!!
Those thugs in suits put the people
in this horrible situation.
Thanks you Patara🌻🌻
Thank you Patara. I love you so much. You’re a light for us in this dark world. I believe we’re in a silent depression. Watch the videos about the empty stores on Black Friday morning. I myself didn’t participate. In my small town people are begging for money for gas, food, and bills on the daily. It’s so close to coming down and I believe it’s much closer. Im hearing cash will be worthless by 12/25/23. My advice is stock up as best you can. Most importantly is make sure you’re right with Jesus.
Good evening 😊
I pray..I do what I can.. prepare as much as I can..if I forget something when stuff hits God's got me ❤
Over Thanksgiving we were surprised by some family members that are now prepping and protecting😉. We had a request from another individual if we would share knowledge and things we are doing to be prepared. I will continue to pray for those who aren't getting it.
Praying God will continue to wake people up.
Tks for your info and encouragement.
I won't/can't explain, but my number one preparation is spiritual ✝
That is the most important thing. This life is temporary, the afterlife is forever. And ever!
Unfortunately, many of those who have never gone without cannot relate to what's around the corner. Therefore they often could care less... until the reality slaps them out of their stupor. Then, all bets are off for the rest of us.
We know we’re in a depression but the powers that be think they can pull the wool over our eyes!! Don’t say a peep about it
But we're not sheep 🐑

All I can do is be thankful for everyday I have to save and prepare. No matter how little, a few cans of beans, a few dollars, or an ounce of silver…I’m grateful for another day to prepare.
Amen
Out to put in pile for hard time
Be careful with the buddy heater!!
Started a debt recovery program to get my finances cleaned
I did that a long time ago and it was well worth it.
I've bought a house, a transit van, and my score is around 800 now
I wish I could get my husband to understand what's coming down the pike, but I'm just a Conspiracy Theorist 😕. It's hard to get ready for ANYTHING with a person like that. 😢
show him how we are batting a 💯% right know.
Patara, As always, You speak from the heart and the Holy Spirit works wonderfully through you! God bless you Sister!!
Amen 🙏
That book was an amazing n such a Thoughfull gift.. And let me tell you, girl, those cute little hearts are too.. Before you said anything.. I was thinking arnt those earrings adorable.. They look so good on you.. ..The kind you wear.. so sweet of whoever sent them..your so loved, girl❤😊
Faithfully watch Jay. The video you're talking about is excellent. Affirmed that my plan is on the right track. Prepare to receive your loved ones into your home and do the best you can. ❤
Hey Patera! Thankyou for all your posts xxx
I think it will happen before 2030.
Theres so much aluminium in the skies right now, it's going to make a heck of a clang when it falls.
Awesome for beautiful sunsets as it reflects off the aluminum
I didn't know that. Thanks for the info.
Patera ,i turned one of my closets into my pantry ! ,feels good to have this in my studio apt .
Thank You
Great job!! You won't regret that.
I had something for 4 days, got better slowly, now just about okay. Thank you for sharing, knowing is everything.
Patera I'm glad you bring this all to the forefront I personally think that the collapse is taking steps slow at first and then faster near the final blow that is only my Outlook I don't know how many other people feel like this
I feel the same way!
Thank you!!
those goats are so darn cute...there is a farm nearby that has baby goats and ducks and I love watching them!
Evening y’all
🤠
So glad you are feeling better!❤
Thankfully I found you a couple years ago Patara. Had I not listened to you in that time I’d be starving right now! It is a mind set! I have invited my son & his family to move in here and they accepted! My last paycheck comes in 2weeks. They’ll be here & I’ll be able to pay my house & car payments! God works in wondrous ways, does He not! I also have to say. The chili sauce I canned last year is the bomb! It was YOUR encouragement that helped me to even attempt it! Thank you Patara!
It is 2 h 20 AM at my clock Have a nice day thank you.
Don’t forget to buy seeds for your garden for the hart time.
I just love following creators like you. It shows people how much love is still in the world. Good people are the norm but the others stand out and make the news making it seems like bad character is the norm. I really enjoy your videos. I'm learning a lot and my hope for the rest of our time here increasing.❤
Thank you for sharing this information Patara...totally on target sister 💯🎯
So true you can’t run from what’s coming
I have so much debt at the age of 71 that it is scary. I have a mortgage with lots of equity but not enough income to support an equity loan to consolidate debts. I am currently looking for work to help me with the cc debts. I love your podcast and have heard some very helpful things on your channel. Keep doing what you are doing❤
Right with you Patara. Going to make a suggestion, encourage you to look into getting a ham radio license. Great alternative way to communicate and keep up with what's going on in the world.
I just got a Baofeng!!!! Think the same!!!
Praying without ceasing.❤️🙏❤️ Thanks for your channel, it's a good thing to be prepared, God bless you 🙏
Any info you can send our way is much appreciated. Love you Patera.❤
I canned turkey and turkey soup today. Hubby made sausage. Keeping at it.
They are so cut playing, hopping around!
If the economic collapse doesnt happen till 2030 now would be an awful good time to plant some fruit trees guys! just sayin! i grew up always having fruit trees so maybe i am biased but my fruit trees i planted in the pandemic are already giving me fruit so, food for thought.
Man, if there was ever anything to get your mind off the impending Apocalypse Now.....
It's those darn babies, I could play with them all day.

I do not know how you get anything done with those cutie goats runnin around. I would want to watch the all day lol.
The last few days my throat has felt funny kinda like getting sick so I started taking my elderberry syrup twice a day!! I need to invest some starts I buy it from a local farm but lord it’s mighty expensive
Probably not as expensive as doc visit and antibiotics, and U know what's in your elderberry mix!

Santa Klaus and the WEF have shared their timeline for Reset, 15min cities, so forth by 2030, so it may be dangerous to tarry that long in our expectations of the big collapse...
