This music has been created and arranged by Myself in it's entirety using Fl Studio Software.
As promised, here is the recreation of the confrontation against Mewtwo!
I want to mention that this is more a recreation than a mashup made by myself. This is an unreleased track so I decided to make it because people requested me to recreated it.

I loved how the mewtwo in origins sounded more like an "animal" and almost behaved more like one as well.
I think you mean he behaved like an actual Pokémon.

This was my favourite aspect of that anime and Mewtwo especially, in that the battle they had was exactly how I pictured the battle against Mewtwo in the game. Loved it!
MrSiesses Not me at all! mewtwo is supposed to act like a human-like pokemon that is the ultimate pokemon withs can talk! mewtwo isn't so badass when he is not acting like that. :P
The Mattyjack 89 You probably got that from the anime. Mewtwo never talked in the games, and is often characterized with animalistic rage and destructive tendencies when not isolating itself.

God, the opening bass line for this song always gives me chills. It is practically the perfect way to open a battle of these proportions.
It's funny to think that, since Mewtwo shares a theme with the wild Pokémon of Kanto
This fight was pretty sick. I think this movie's portrayal of Mewtwo was my favorite out of all that I can remember-as an extremely powerful, but solitary creature, willing to stay in the cave in peace, but not hesitating to fight anyone who dares to challenge it.
Zero Comma Three Yeah I like first movie's representation of Mewtwo way better than the Origins version, but I'd choose Origins over the anime any damn day.

Before you go blaming English dub companies for every little thing, do your homework on the whole "Blue/Green name change conspiracy" thing, because it's painful to see the same misconceptions over and over.
I commented about this on another one of Pokeli's videos to no avail.
I don't think you fully understand the real implications of the Rival's name changes.
The Gen 1 Rival's and Protagonist's names are determined by the first two Pokémon games to ever came out. In Japan, those two games were Red and Green. Everywhere else, those two games were Red and Blue. Hence, the ORIGIN.
The dub of Orgins even took account the name change and called him Blue as a result. And in case you bring up the manga, those were obviously made in Japan, where he's called Green, and since the female protagonist is named Blue, the localizers decided to keep the names the same as the Japanese version rather than switch them around to avoid confusion in the manga's canon.
So to wrap up, it DOESN'T MATTER what he's called--Green, Blue, whatever. It all depends on where you're from or what version you're referring to (like the Japanese dub of Orgins or any OTHER dub of Origins).
Also, for those who call him Gary or Shigeru, that's only respective to Satoshi's/Ash's anime and nowhere else.

Nah. Nothing can compare, this is the best Mewtwo theme. For a marketing tool, they really went all out on the music like Jesus. LISTEN TO THIS! It honestly sounds awesome.

The noises this incarnation of Mewtwo made were pretty cool. I was never big on Pokemon that could talk, I prefer my Pokemon being more like animals, and Origins Mewtwo delivered
I love how Origins portrayed Mewtwo diffrently than the first movie. Instead of being a confused rodent, Mewtwo is more like the monster he was always supposed to be. Kudos, Gamefreak!

Well, apparently you have the genwunner nostalgia glasses on right now. The movie is really bad for "movie" standards. Full of clices and bad voice acting. I can say that Mewtwo's monologues are the highest point in PKMN:TFM. That and the music is very decent.

Origins is what the pokemon anime shouldve turned into. Physical pokemon attacks like bite, scratch, etc. were actually physical and not just some magic attack used from a distance, even the pokemon seemed more wild and animal-like
Ehh, keep it like the start of the series. Some Pokemon were more animal like than others. Physical attacks were still very physical (and didn't involve random explosions) while still allowing for a lot of lighthearted comedy, and serious moments.
Origins took itself very seriously and likely wouldn't have as much lasting appeal.
The theme is just awesome. It totally gets the feeling of a rare pokemon encounter.

If they ever remake gen 1 again, which is more than likely in 3-4 years, game freak needs to make this the wild battle theme. This is so much more lively and and epic than the original gameboy one ever was. This makes me amped up to fight wild pokemon, not be like UGH! Another one? and just run away.

hasn't it felt like pokemon has gotten lukewarm or safe in recent times? I remember watching the Mewtwo movie way back when thought how messed up his story was, even in the games. His existence establish the tone of pokemon, that despite all the cool battles and childish games, there's a really twisted dark side to it all.
like if you think they should make pokemon origins for the other regions
IMO, the 3 top things that could happen to pokemon,
1. Gen 2 remake
2. Make a sequel to pokemon origins for gen 2.
3. Let us see those super super epic fights Red most likely had with other gym leaders and trainers. At least more trainers and a couple more gym leader fight scenes.
Though doing these things might force game freak to move on with the generations and actually yet hard again to make great games and not be lazy with the remakes or make a game that suspiciously was super easy and fast and few months later reveal a remake....
For this to happen i believe it'll take them years to do. I mean forget the people who buy your stuff and enjoy it your product. You could always be selfish and continue making games for profit only.

The fact that they took the original battle theme of of pokemon firered and leafgreen and make it even more awesome is just so over the top that I like it.

A couple of years ago, I used this song for a college animation assignment, in which I animated a short (1 minute long) pokemon battle, but that was it, I showed the final animation to my teacher and immetiadely deleted the video.
Today, I found the video again in a lost files scan and I was wondering if you'd allow me to post it here on TH-cam and I'd give you full credit for the song, I liked it in retrospective, if not, I completely understand and I will delete the video for good or simply change the audio

Tbh I'd think it'd be really cool if they continued on with the origins styled anime, Red having his time in the sun and then it moving to Johto where you'd follow the protags from that game, then to Hoenn, Sinnoh and so on and so forth, that would be really sweet.
