Man, I remember their inception on SNL in October 2001. They played In Too Deep and Fat Lip. What a refreshing punk perspective. Good to see these boys drawing crowds after all this time. Sound engineer: You deserve a raise/bonus.

I might sound cynical or straight up rude, but I’m just sincerely glad that he didn’t die. These songs are my youth hymns. I’m very glad that everything is good and the band is going on!

I agree with the comments with it being weird with Deryck not playing guitar during full show..but he still fucking rocks. I loved Steveo but I love Frank hes an amazing drummer. When I was 15 I visited a friend of mine who lived in Hannover, Germany. He and some friends were covering Sum 41 songs. Here I see Dave playing a Düsenberg Paloma that is produced in this very city. Also the first live concert I attended was Sum41 in Hamburg. This band has been with me my whole live, I hope I can see them angain!
My guess is Deryck kinda decided he wants to be more of a frontman on this tour at least, so he's only playing rhythm guitar on a couple songs at most during their shows now. It's a little weird since it's been basically the opposite approach when it comes to just singing during shows his whole career, but he's still doing a great job as always and he's able to run around since they have two guitarists anyways.

He really is. I haven't drummed in quite a while because I'm raising kids now and I have a special needs son but dude this guy is always been a drummers hero. Dude is amazing and he's on point the whole time

For my money, there is no other band I would rather see. Their multi-diverse roots of influence from Elvis Costello to Beastie Boys to Metallica. Sum 41 is a better rock group than any of their contemporaries. Fight me.

Whoever did the sound design on this live performance did a really good job.
