@@CyanBlackflower If you look in the description you will see that this type of artwork is known as a Mandelbrot zoom because it is based upon the Mandelbrot set. So yes, it is Mandelbrot.
@@Zooqitan Yes, I'm quite familiar with Benoit Mandelbrot's famous set. Since then, many more variations have been made. Since Mandelbrot came up with the simple equation used in the repeat iterations, to generate fractals, it could be argued that he plays the fundamental & vital role in any subsequent fractal generation that uses it. In THIS case, however, the variation is the work of "Maths Town" A "profile" name used by the person who has been creating beautiful original and 3D fractal art for years. Some are indeed based on Mandelbrot's in put, with variations. Look him up yourself. I too can read. Believe it or not. :)
@@CyanBlackflower Cool, thanks for the information. Your initial comment was not very explicit, I appreciate you expounding upon your point. I had a suspicion that this might have been what you were saying, but couldn't really deduce that from the original statement.
@@Zooqitan You're absolutely correct, and acting responsibly by calling for clarification, and or verification, whenever encountering questionable or vague assertions. My excuse for being vague/misleading in this case, can be attributed to the fact that so few people give a damn enough to bother calling for specification, elaboration, or verification. Unfortunately. So, I appreciate it, and wish I saw it far more often.
Superb mate!! I wonder why most people don't seem to get the genius of these two artists. Their wonders seem to be appreciated by the blessed few; I almost feel sorry for the folk who don't get the same enjoyment and richness added to their lives as I get. I'm sure Richard will be neurodivergent; (unsure BoC). Perhaps those who follow Aphex Twin and BoC with such passion (as I do) are more likely to be neurodiverse (as I am). Just a thought. Anyways huge thanks for this
Such a wonderful present for christmas! Ill relax by the fire kitty cat in lap damn i really wanted to go to their shows. This is the kind we need to springboard from.
The only way I can describe this is you know Aphex Twin when you hear the ambience and trip hop versus BOC straight trip hop. This combination is money!
It´s a matter of mindfu@k. I was looking at Jamie Oliver cooking while writing and then... Sorry Kieran and Jamie... and Tim the enchanter.@@timstewart8752
I think the assumption is that since some older material has been slightly remixed (maybe) for boc later album and it's quite good, aphex too continues to resound with talent in the era after 2000 or so. I just don't think this is the case. I've discovered an album of sequenced live instruments released more recently but that is billed as a back up to druqs. I'm not into druqs (no really) but I think this is interesting and might constitute a later release worth adding to the lexicon of greats. Otherwise not that epic.
Link to visuals in the description.
Yeah. That´s Extraordirary.
Thanks for this..
i did thank you
Very clever, boss. I'll do it, but not cause you tricked me.
Aphex Twin + BoC + mandlebrot zoom visuals = delicious combo
Not Mandelbrot. "Maths Town" creates his own original fractal art.

I have now realized how easy it is to tell BoC from Aphex. I’ve listened to the entire BoC discography and I’m only just now listening to Aphex.
OH MY GOD - Cant believe someone mixed my 2 favourites - Amazing!!!
This is amazing! Thank you! If Autechre could join here would be the perfect trilogy, just a thought...
The IDM Disk Jockeys
Would add GAS and Casino vs Japan also
Id add The black dog and the orb tbh.
I think it’s fine as is

It almost sound like Four Tet. (Jamie)
Richard vs. Jamie?
That would be something.
Four Tet = Kieran Hebden…
It´s a matter of mindfu@k.

Levels are all over the place. Not mixed well and not listenable on a PA. But cool on phone speakers I guess?
It’s very hard to keep the two consistent due to the large quality difference between the BOC leaks and aphex’s soundcloud dump.
Anything you do like about it? 😂
What is this... no.. At least be honest about the content. Sounds like drum loops to me.
The production is dynamic and detailed it’s just more subtle
