Yanfei carried me from the very beginning of this game; she was one of my first characters, and I still play her, with Xingqiu, Yelan, and Fischl (or Layla instead of Fischl if I need to supplement Yanfei’s own shield)
I use Yanfei, Raiden, Zhongli, and the last slot always changes. Currently it's filled by Fischl for farming Aeonblight Drake, but some other characters that have been in that slot are Xiangling, Ayato, Nahida, and (when fighting Geo Cube) Razor.
My favorite team comp is the lazy comp with Bennett instead of yelan since I don't have her. I sometimes use a yanfei, xinqiu, zhongli, and Bennett combo every once in a while. I've also used a Venti, xingqiu, Bennett and yanfei team comp as well.
I have fun with unconventional teams, like Venti Yae Fischl Yanfei to keep enemies close while doing overload and Yanfei Xingqiu Beidou just to see lot of things exploding on screen. Last spot can be anyone like Nahida, anemo, Bennett
I personally use Yanfei with Shinobu, Yelan, and Kazoo/Nahida. Shinobu for overload/hyperbloom with Nahida and Yelan for vapes against the tankier enemies. I despise bennet so that's what works for me

Replaced her with Childe ever since the day I tested her normal attacks (her animations are super slick!) And she carried me through the entirety of the game pretty much. My team comp with her is with Xinqiu, Bennett, and Zhongli. Planning to get Kazuha soon to see if I could boost her damage :] Great video!

I also have a C2 Ningguang that I’m trying to figure out how to fit in yet. Any recommendations are welcome!
ningguang and yanfei play the same role in a team (on-field dps) so they don't work together well, putting them together in a single team means you're essentially wasting 1 character slot

@@leafloversspecialhater4988 Lost Prayer? No brainer, it will be almost always better. Widsith is overrated really, it's buff has a cooldown... It's only great if you are able to clear content in one rotation + be careful about rotation. If not, it's just ok... I'm using 4pc Wanderer for more than a year on Yanfei. In terms of pure dmg it's really good, not far behind Crimson Witch, while you don't need to farm artifacts. But... it focuses on CA, you might think it's good for Yanfei... but it isn't for situations where range unit should shine, like - fighting Thunder Manifestation. For general purpose - yeah, there is like no big difference and in terms of cost/value Wanderer is great. But in the end, I would say Crimson Witch is really needed for Yanfei to not be frustrated that she performes quite badly where she could really be helpful.

I used to use for all the time before I got better characters but it was long enough for me to care for her and it was refreshing playing as her after using my Yae team mostly but alot of teams I used were bad like Yanfei Noelle Mona and Shinobu and before I got mona I used Kaeya instead and before Shinobu I used Sara and before her Sucrose so the teams I used to use were not good but I want to use her again however I don't have all the characters for these teams I dont have Kazuha Yelan or Zhongli.
Lost50/50 to Mona and all my freaking 4 star pulls were Yanfies except for a rain slasher, 3 yanfies in a single pull, now she c6 so i stopped pulling cuz scared of getting more. And why does she have a pyro vision? I thought hydro archon was that of justice or maybe that was the previous one? _(:3」∠)_
If only I got yanfei before ar 55 but since I got her at ar 55 I’m too lazy to build her (as much as I want to) Like I already have sh-tty dps builds and sh-tty buffers built so I cant 😭
Yeah, can be called viable. You will have enough vape & melt, plus dmg should be decent. Although not great. Mona's buff without freeze is only for 5s... While Yanfei needs to stay on the field longer. But if you have them built well, I think all three, not counting Layla, should deal nice dmg.
@@wutherer But I don't think you need to replace Layla. She is a very good shielder, Tenacity buffer, plus - adding melts. Good survivability and dmg increase. You can replace for Benny, also because of pyro resonance. But I think Layla is really good and in some situations even better thanks to shielding. Well, Zhongli is even better speaking purely about shield. Only Mona is a bit meh here, but still nice, especially for bosses with small dps windows. Best would be to replace her for Yelan or Kazuha. Sucrose can be ok too.

I use both No.1 and No.2, as far as other builds, if you swap out Zhongli for C4DoriFav in team 2 you can have Yanfei with 100% burst up time.

I play Yanfei with Jean, Clorinde, and Xinqui. Works stupid well (All at L90, Jean is not crowned, and only Yanfei’s normal attack is crowned).

Yanfei burgeon is amazing. I get 40k per core ezy and also her long range is also really helpful to prevent self damage
