I believe due to limited hiring to maintain a well paying structure PE has this charm of being elusive. Otherwise any VC / or even an engineering manager position in any product based companies earns equally to any PE professional.

      in your imagination.:)
Tech qualities and PE qualities are not same from a wholistic personality and knowledge :)

Check the website and the credentials of the people of are there in your target companies - if they match yours probably then you can figure it out

With no offense! Understand what PE is before you want to get into PE!

For you to pivot into tech you need to find funds that specializes in your domain, as well as have some basic understanding of valuation so I'd recommend getting FRM certification its equivalent to an MBA finance but much cheaper and try to network a ton with the people who are in the P.E firms and try landing internships if possible
      Goodluck

I worked for Amazon in a great role, but I will never put on my linkedin or refer to myself as Ex-Amazon like they say here with Ex-McKinsey... shows you value nothing but career success and run on people thinking you're successful. Just flat out makes one look like a douche.

really? i don't think you are an ex-amazon rather you sound like a broke living on father's money who is jealous and insecure seeing other people doing great in their lives. And just to cover that up, you came up criticizing her having ex-McKinsey in her linkedln , damn, i feel sad for you.
