That’s great news! Really glad to see you all being super responsible about this situation. Always looking forward to your reactions. Let’s get hyped for the finale! It’s going to be wild!
Hayward seems WAY too confident about his whole plan of goading Wanda into helping him restart Vision. I'm thinking he's going to turn out to be some sort of supernatural/alien masquerading as Hayward.
Yes, but also, that was brilliant writing. The episode that Hayward took over the operation, they had him show video "proof" of Wanda stealing Vision's body, then tell us she did. That same episode immediately followed the ending of episode 4 where we get a flash of Dead Vision. All this combines to make us think Wanda is puppeteering Vision's body *so that we never once suspect Hayward still has it.* Even the most obsessed fanboys would never have suspected Hayward of creating White Vision because everything immediately told us he didn't have the body. It was some epic misdirection from the writing staff. *Chef's kiss*
@@IceMetalPunk Yeah, and there were hints here and there to suggest otherwise, too. First of all, Hayward immediately returned to HQ right after seeing Vision alive on TV for no apparent reason, which we can now safely presume was to make sure his Vision is still in SWORD's possession. After that, when Darcy found out that Hayward was tracking Vision within the Hex via his vibranium decay signal, I was wondering why Hayward (or rather, the showrunner) didn't just do something simpler like put a tracking device into his 3 billion dollars weapon instead. Now, we know that it was because that Hex Vision wasn't his Vision. Not to mention when Hex Vision exited the Hex, Hayward did not even attempt to approach him or recapture him, probably because he has no need for this Vision when he already has one of his own, especially since this Vision is behaving like his usual self.
She was destined to be a powerful mythical witch all along. That wields chaos magick and is able to create matter and inorganic materials out of thin air.
After Dr. Strange, a sorcerer, Blade and Morphius, vampires.... I find it odd people question Witches in the MCU. There have always been magic in the comics....on the DC side it's one of Superman's weaknesses.
The way I interpret this episode, is that the MCU is presenting the Scarlet Witch as an entity, rather that as a specific person, similar to the way the X-Men comics describe the Phoenix Force - as if it isn't a person, but rather a cosmic entity that bonds with a particular host at any given moment. I enjoy your reactions!
I don’t think the MCU is making Wanda a mutant, I think they’re retconning her to be born an actual witch. I mean, Agatha even said that her power would’ve died if she didn’t use the mind stone and last I check mutants never lose their powers naturally after they get them. Plus the MCU turned the Scarlet Witch into a title and a myth rather than just naming Wanda that cause her magic is red.
I think so too. They doubled down on magic and witches. Never once mentioned x-gene or mutant in this episode. Even made sure we wouldn't think pietro is from the "fox universe". Anything x-men related isn't coming for a long time
@@ryanroberts3270 That’s what they want us to think we know this Pietro is a real person. He could still very well be from the Fox universe. Agatha might not even know what mutants are. I know it’s changed in the comics but they can easily have her as a mutant and a witch. How did her brother gain super speed? Might not happen but I’m still hopeful
@@saiyan24 it’s still possible. But I just don’t think marvel comes right out the gate with here’s the fox universe and mutants. With pietro I’m not sure how he got his powers, don’t think he’ll be around after next week.
In the comics Wanda is actually a descendant of a long line of Scarlet Witches, she’s just the most recent incarnation of it. So I think they’re both moving further from her original mutant backstory and more in line with her current pure sorceress backstory

Wanda and Pietro were always mutants, the Mind Stone just showed them who they really were, that's it. I think Hydra's camera's saw nothing because this all happened in their heads--I say their heads because I assume the same happened to Pietro do, given that Strucker called Wanda and Pietro miracles, apparently they weren't before testing. When Vision emerged from the canister that held his body he was all one color too. After coming in contact with Thor did he chose to fully color himself, he looked at Thor and tried to replicate his look, giving himself a cape. I think Vision being White is Swords doing, they likely scrubbed his parts before reassembling him. Since Hayward speaks of him as a thing, he works best to make him look colorless and lifeless. All one color does that pretty well. In the comics, white Vision was Vision reborn with no emotions, and that's probably what we're getting here. Vision with memories and no emotional attachment to anything. Vision isn't just the Mind Stone--"Your mind is made of a complex construct of overlays. Jarvis, Ultron, Tony, me the stone. All of them mixed together," is what Bruce told Vision before Shuri tried to remove the stone from his head. Hayward failed to turn Vision on because he lacked the power to do it--I don't think it had anything to do with the stone, but something with the power of a god--Thor turned Vision on with his powers, this time it was Wanda.
@@EternalDensity , her mutant ability is witch craft, particularly chaos magic! Her abilities started from trauma...just like every other mutant-trauma is the catalyst to mutation. This is an interesting way to watch you Guys. Novel. I like it. Adam's light effects are perfect for this episode.Though, it's always great to see you 3 together. Great reactions, as always.
They're bringing witches in the MCU and so they're going the route in the comics where her powers come from The God of Chaos, Chthon. Chaos magic is a "magic so powerful that can manipulate, warp, and reconstruct the very fabric of existence and reality to the user's very whims, and bring about total destruction to the cosmos." She was able to create another Vision because of this. She doesn't remember this because she immediately slipped into the reality she created to escape her trauma and live the life with Vision that she always wanted. Hayward tried to goad her into bringing back Vision but she didn't know she had the power to do that, so he made her look like a villain, I think to get rid of her because she didn't do what he wanted to do, and that she would be the biggest threat. In short, she is powerful as fuck and just imagine what more she can do when she learns to control it.
The head witch is called Evanora Harkness according to the credits, so it was in fact her mom. Commenting before finishing, so you may already know that haha.
White Vision was in the comics as a "rebooted" Vision who was lacking emotions and empathy. Which I'm sure will go over well for Hayward... but I also think this MCU version is going a different direction. They reminded us in episode 7 that Vision's body was originally created by Ultron to help exterminate humanity, with Vision even asking, "What does that make me now?" So if Hayward made White Vision, a Vision without a mind stone (and probably without the Jarvis AI if he's trying to control him), that would very likely just end up being... Ultron. I think they recreated Ultron without meaning to. Which *also* will not go over well 😂
The Vision you see at the end is called Spectral Vision he doesn't have any feelings and doesn't care who he hurts or kills. He could be voiced by James Spader because technically this version of Vision is like a Ultron 2.0

Agatha will probably be good eventually like loki's original timeline cuz shes the loki for this era of Marvel phases. In the comics, she babysits the FF(Sue and Reed Richards) kids.
Too bad we didn't get to see your reaction to the major emotional scenes : - Vison speaking about love persevering - Wanda touching the dead Vision and telling she doesn't feel him. 🥺😥
Was Ultron considered sentient? I can't remember. I think either both Vision and the white robot dies, or Vision reoccupies his old body and Wanda creates a hex just around his body to keep him stable.
Witches in the MCU are just mutants, but they were considered magical until science came along to explain their powers. I believe the Jedi and Sith in Star Wars are actually mutants as well, and their mutations allow them to tap into the forces of nature around them. As for white Vision, he is just a soulless robot who will carry out Hayward's wishes. I believe that Wanda will reconnect Vision's soul, which she created, with the rebuilt Vision body that Hayward possesses. This will restore the real Vision back to Wanda. Disney will probably not make a season 2 of WandaVision because this story is just a lead into the next phase movies of the MCU.
If you watch the episode where vision breaks out the mind is stone never disappears it's complete it would've been complete if he had died outside that world and then they would Be able to power their vision the one we just saw I'm guessing
I think the SWORD director is going to end up being Mephisto. The way he's treating Wanda reminds me of the way the devil pushes people towards evil and temptation. I'm also wondering if that deed was planted on her car seat by Hayward himself since Wanda looked at it funny when she got in the car. Maybe I interpreted that scene wrong but it looked like she had never seen it before.
Hayward knows Wanda has the power to bring back the dead. He was egging her on. Just like Agatha was with Sparky. Hayward used Wanda’s magic to bring back a white Vision. Agatha also said, Wanda has the power of creation. Noticed that she used red magic (an illusion) to remake Westview. But she used the yellow magic to create Vision. The yellow magic she encountered with the Infinity stone. Wanda has more powers than just changing reality. She’s almost God like. So the final will be Vision vs White Vision. No Mephisto. No Nightmare. Did we really believe Disney would give up the China box office market. Who bans movies with devils in it (New Rockstars🙄)? I believe Wanda will merge her Vision. The one with his humanity with the White Vision. Who is just a weapon. So that Vision can exist outside the hex.
I think Agatha is going to get Wanda to bring back Ralph, and I think Wanda is going to free Agatha of his control maybe, either way this is not going to end well
Head of S.W.O.R.D. he was right about not giving Wanda Vision's body to bury. You don't bury anything more powerful than an atomic bomb. And it's not "that's the potential" but that it's dangerous. In the Marvel world, all you need to do is stumble over a stick while walking in the forest and it turns out to be the legendary stick of Christ and now you shoot lasers from the anus.

Head of S.W.O.R.D. he was right about not giving Wanda Vision's body to bury. You don't bury anything more powerful than an atomic bomb. And it's not "that's the potential" but that it's dangerous. In the Marvel world, all you need to do is stumble over a stick while walking in the forest and it turns out to be the legendary stick of Christ and now you shoot lasers from the anus.
listen to the lyrics every bad thing that was gone wrong agenes was behind it....
I would like to be a guest on your show lmk thx!
I'm pretty sure the after credit scene from last episode would be important otherwise why bother showing it.
Love your reaction , go check the explain episode "WANDAVISION EPISODE 8 BREAKDOWN! Easter Eggs & Details You Missed! (1x08 "Previously On") : th-cam.com/video/vy6z5Q-PuAk/w-d-xo.html
I think Agatha is giving Wanda some tough love...and also trying to figure her out for her own needs.
