DIY Patio Cover/Carport made w/ RECYCLE roof panels

  • This is how I went about building a 15'x18' Patio roof cover/carport
    I used recycled roof panels that needed quite a bit of massaging, to be able to make them straight enough to be usable.
    The insulated panels make a huge temperature difference.
    I measured the temperature on one panel w/ insulation and one w/ out insulation and the temperature difference was between 12 to 15 degrees.
    This was quite a project, but I am very glad that I that was able to do it.
    I am not a "builder", make sure to consult w/ a professional before attempting a project like this

    Did you bolt teh vertical 4x6's to the concrete slab? OK, I see how you did it. Nice job.

    Probably want to put a very slight angle on that canopy so you don't get water pooling. Even a half inch higher on one side than the other is enough.

      The rain slides down to the left side perfectly 👍
