    Trading success can be broken down into a few pillars. Jay, a trader for over 20 years explains what those pillars are and how you should approach trading in order to find success. Jay is a OTC trader who has been successful for many years. What is so cool about Jay is that he only trades the last 30 mins of the day. Yes, he is a full-time trader but, with this type of time commitment, you could easily do this while working a full-time job too!

    I’m under pressure to grow my reserve that currently holds about $500k. I’m down by 20% already following the crash and I fear I could lose more.

      If you're looking for help building an investment nest egg, you most likely want a certified financial planner with expertise in investment planning. With the aid of a coach, I grew my reserve from $160k to almost $600k during the red season.

      I've been in the red for the past couple months, lost 12k last week alone, Indubitably I've got good companies but profit is still stalling, how did you go around finding a coach? I wouldn't mind looking yours up.

      The coach that guides me is Lisa Ann Moberly, she's popular and has quite a following, so it shouldn't be a hassle to find her, just search her.

    Concluding 2023 with a 20% decline in the S&P 500, long-term investors find a promising entry into 2024. Noteworthy ETFs include: $VOO for S&P 500, $VTI for total US market, $QQQ for tech growth, and $SCHD for growth with dividends. Calculating my annual dividends, I'm thankful for $167k-attributing it to discipline and focus.

    • @eloign7147
      @eloign7147 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Isn't VOO and VUG similar in the sense both are investing in the S&P 500? What is the difference? I thought it is generally advised against to invest in multiple ETFs or Mutual Funds?

    • @rogerwheelers4322
      @rogerwheelers4322 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      There is 55% overlap with the holdings in VOO and VUG. 1 is tech heavy and the other is financials heavy similar, but not the same. VOO tracks the S&P 500; VUG is just focused on large cap growth stocks. VUG is a bit more volatile, but with a higher upside potential. VOO is a bit safer. I’ve never heard anyone advise against multiple ETFs/mutual funds. You just have to be aware of overlap. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.

      I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

    Here is what I think is most important. 1. You need to learn how to lose first. And you will lose first. You must last the first year without blowing up your account. 2. Use money managment / risk managment. Never risk more than 2% of the account value on any one trade. 3. You must have a system that produces positive expectancy. This set up should be around 7 correct out of 10. 4. You only trade that one set up for at least 6 months before moving on to something else. You can add more tools to the tool box but not until you have mastered the 1st and then the 2nd and then the 3rd. 5. You only need 1 or 2 positive expectancy set ups with good risk / money managment to win at this game. 6. If you are jumping from system to system you will lose. You need to find 1 set that you have back tested within your time frame and see that it works. YOU have to do the back testing because YOU have understand that it DOES in fact have postive expectancy. 6. Record / journal every trade. And how you were feeling, market conditions etc. 7. Be humble the market it always right. If you think it is wrong and fight it... you will go broke.

    Nice video and thank you for breaking it down!! I still see cryptocurrency as one of the best digital investment and i totally love the technology. As a trader, I'm so glad. I can smile back at my portfolio of $66,700 made from my weekly trade within a short period. I feel one of the greatest challenges that we first timers face in the market is that we end up losing all we have, making it difficult to find ourselves back to our feet. My biggest advice is to always seek the services of a professional just like I did when I ventured into it for the first time. Big thanks to Angielyn Babierra❤

    Wow. This is the real life stuff. Forget all the SMC, ICT and all those technical complexities (especially for beginners). You can still nail down TA with the good ole simple Trendline, S&R and chart pattern confluences. That's the simple part. The actual challenge is our psychology and risk management in trading. Fear and Greed is the biggest enemy in trading and that isn't on the chart. It is within us. We need to be seeing more videos like this on youtube that talks about the real deal. Nice content B The Trader.

    If your not profitable 15 to 20 days a month, your one of a few things, 1. wreckless, 2. don't have a successful strategy 3. Don't know how to execute that strategy 4. Don't have good data and plan based on that strategy. Day trading is about 1 day today, so not being profitable on an average day means retooling and data harvesting, as well as a proving and data collection. This can take 2 to 4 months just to define your strategy and prove it up, refine it etc.

  • @proletariat9467
    @proletariat9467 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

    If you look at your P&L and your current loss blows your mind, your now in the mind game space. Instilling fear as your size is simply too large. Trading in a mind space where your size matches your tolerance is a much healthier place to be on a daily basis. Just because you can trade larger size does not mean you should, and perhaps given time with the right mental programming you'll get there. But there's a big difference in trading 2000 shares on a liquid ticker than 50,000, you don't mkt order out on 50 k when vol dries.

    Nothing about this title has anything to do with what you 2 actually discuss, cmon man... you can do better. I was hoping he would talk/show something of his strategy, but this was mostly about psychology.

    Funny to see that people can predict a market. Based on a TA. I Will help you out of your dreams a TA has nothing to do with trading. You CANT predict the market. If you Use a strategy and your strategy tells you to buy or sell and Goes into a other direction Then your strategy isnt working right… Why TF are you Guys keep looking to a TA if the game is a head or tails. Head is 50,39 procent and tails is 49,61 procent. Now if you have 100 trades and you lost 51 trades on head -1 procent and you win 49 trades with 1,5 procent. Think about this and thank me later. Only one person can manupulate your strategy. The real strategy is in your % . Kind regards from a instution trader.
