Awesome content! just what I needed! You come across many TH-cam “gurus” telling you Rent 2 Rent is a good idea but they’re only doing that because they want you to buy their course, and I find that misleading. So, thank you for your honesty. You’ve turned me into a subscribber.
Glad it was helpful! amazing! I looked at R2R in the early days as it seemed tempting. But it just didn't seem to make sense to me. It can be a useful tool to get one or two to ditch the day job but I never want you doing any more than the bare minimum (I didn't do even 1 in the end, I moved to Deal Packaging) Stuff to help you: I've a ton of downloadable [FREE] checklists and packs for you if you have not as yet got them - here is the link for you: thegoodpropertycompany.co.uk/product-category/free/ Also here are webinars you can join straightaway: thegoodpropertycompany.co.uk/free-webinars/ and send us an email if you want to get in touch! hello@thegoodpropertycompany.co.uk. Let us know what we can help you with. Good luck! Rooting for you
Totally agree, we have property in the UK including an HMO that takes hardly any of my time as fully managed, in Greece we have SA and it's a lot of hard work, we really work hard for our money! Plus when watching Rent to Rent videos, they seem to fail to take in to account, damages, tax and the time factor, you hear this Financial Free word being thrown around a lot, but as you said you are basically trading one job for being on call 24hr's a day. Lastly something you didn't mention and it's happened here in Greece, but not fully enforced yet, is the 90 days rental a year only and I think in the UK this is coming country wide soon! Greetings from Crete!!
Interesting, yes in Edinburgh London and a few other cities they have this time limit but not yet everywhere. Hello to Crete! I would now only do SA if I employed a full time experienced SA management company and it be fully hands off. Tons of work!
Yay! Thank you! I hope you take a ton of notes and it really influences you positively to succeed in property! Good luck! More ways to help you: Did you have a quick download of some (or all of my checklists) and 101 lessons on the website, and perhaps looked at if any of the online education is what you are looking for? Lots on my website for free - thegoodpropertycompany.co.uk/product-category/free/ and thegoodpropertycompany.co.uk/free-webinars/ And also good deeper level trainings for if and when you want to go deeper! Good luck to you in property
yes there is an upside - almost instant income, so if you do want to do them, perhaps only ever do 3 for base income. I personally investigated and decided against them for me and I am glad I did. I preferred deal packaging. I do webinars on these at times = sometimes live and also have a pre-recorded one. If I give you the link to webinars generally you can find your way to the live one from the menu! thegoodpropertycompany.co.uk/free-webinars/
Not sure I agree. I think the best alternative to rent to rent is deal packaging, eg sourcing on discounted deals to earn fees really quickly. So almost the same to your suggestion - packaging on a deal, but for me I packaged on deals to buy not to rent to rent. Good luck!
What about short term let, services accommodation. Does all what you’ve said still apply? Correct me if I’m wrong your are talking about long term tenants.
I would not want you doing R2R - you don't own the asset it cannot increase in value for you. You have all the risk. The structure is wrong. Got webinars on Deal Sourcing if that is better for you. thegoodpropertycompany.co.uk/free-webinars/
Thank you that is lovely of you! Good luck to you! Lots on my website for free - thegoodpropertycompany.co.uk/product-category/free/ and thegoodpropertycompany.co.uk/free-webinars/ And also good deeper level trainings for if and when you want to go deeper! Good luck to you in property
Have they sourced over 200 deals, £45 million of property for £30 million? Unlikely for most of them. I have such in-depth experience and want to share that so others can use property as a way of getting out of the rat race and spend more time on people and things they love doing. But I am the real deal with that level of experience under my belt. When choosing a course, look at the level of experience to help you decide. Good luck to you! Amazing insight Susan, really appreciate your honesty. Thank you!
I've been looking at R2R but have only been told of the upside...

The best alternative to rent to rent yourself is to get a property and offer it to someone to do rent to rent with it.

Now everybody seems to be selling property packaging courses ( or they call it Property Sourcing) !!!
Easy isnt it 😂😂😂
Have they sourced over 200 deals, £45 million of property for £30 million? Unlikely for most of them.

When choosing a course, look at the level of experience to help you decide. Good luck to you!
