The Georgian Military Highway is a road connecting Georgia and Russia, which passes through the Main Caucasus Range. The Georgian Military Highway connects Tbilisi and Vladikavkaz, and the length of the entire road is 208 kilometers. The road passes through a mountain pass through the valley of the Terek River, from where descending it enters the valley of the Belaya Aragvi River.
