I was taught if you can't say something nice don't say ANYTHING AT ALL! Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. We love watching all your channels. God bless you all!
I just feel sorry for those who feel the need to take others down. What a sour person they must be. One thing I love about your videos and Miss Brenda’s videos is their nice slow pace. They give me time to enjoy and learn at my leisure.
I have 5 horses and not only are they BEAUTIFULL, but the smell, WOWZA LOL!! The smell of the horse is like no other🫶🏼I can walk into my barn all day long and instantly be in heaven✨🌟🕊🌟✨
As a long time viewer I just want to say how much I've enjoyed watching you folks over the years. I grew up in rural Ontario, Canada on my grandfather's farm over 80 years ago and MaryCarl reminds me of myself at her age, especially her love of birds. She is wise in not wanting to be filmed and you're such great parents to let it be her choice. Love your family. Hugs
No worries. Those people that make negative remarks. Or just plain smart off. They are just plain evil. God continue blessing you. And thank you for being such a blessing to everyone.
Living in Alberta Canada I grew up around my grandparents farm… they had “Cows” … around the farm we would refer to them as “the cattle “ or “The cows” and the Bull… the only time we referred to them as heifers and Steer was when they were young or being gathered to take to auction.
I love watching Miss Brenda Gantt. Yes, it takes a while to watch her, but her accent and her country humor and stories is worth the time to watch her. She has so much energy and good country dishes. She also line dancing. Can you imagine!! Cooking, Bed and Breakfast, church, lectures, writing books, selling and signing books, videos, not to mention her family comes to visit and eat. You, Jason and Brooke, are so busy too. When I get up tight, I turn your videos on, and I calm down and go to sleep to rest. Not to say your videos put me to sleep from boredom, but your sweet selves. I love horses. The beauty and strength are awesome. Sometimes when I see them run it brings me to tears, the sheer beauty of them.
My best horse Kong lived to be 39. He passed one month before his 40th birthday .❤️❤️❤️ I said he was my boyfriend cause he was so sweet and loved his soft peppermint candy.
You should put the peacock feathers on the farm stand. I am not saying sell them, but just offer them to you customers. Many people use the for arrangements. Just a thought.
Watching Miss Brenda’s channel reminds me of my grandmother. She cooks and measures like my grandmother did. The thing is that the accent and food is different. Brenda from the south and my grandmother from Italy. Both slowly and teaching others how it is done.
I wish I never said anything wrong and nasty because you just made me realize how damaging it really is. 68 and still learning how to cherish and to love more each day!❤ Just love the whole bunch of ya!
Yall are so cute, so sweet and soooo funny 😅 Absolutely LOVE your videos. Live in Georgia now but was born and raised in Alabama. Love all the animals ❤ and you always put a smile on my face 😊.please continue to do what you do. ❤
My friend helped me go rescue a small colony of bees, so here we go! Im joining yall in the bee business. I enjoy watching yalls journey. These are a sweet, well behaved bunch.
There's no such thing as a FREE horse! Yes, they are all beautiful! There's nothing better for the inside of a human than the outside of a horse. Soooooooo true!
Just a joy listing to you guys!! Anything and everything!! Weather has been different this year, I live in a condo now, house and yard was to much anymore, sad. All I can say too many different people and to theirselves, not to friendly but anyways trying to grow in pots, it has been quite the challenge. So enjoy watching you all and your animals!!
****🌺 Jason, I don't believe I've ever ridden a Saddle Bred horse or a Gaited Horse, but mostly I've ridden & owned Quarter Horses and Thouroghbred horses. I was raised as a cowgirl and I loved riding Western, tho I could ride English style also. I didn't care for it as well. I never enjoyed jumping & all of my events were western. I had been on a horse since I was an infant, riding with my dad. Doing all that posting stuff hurt my knees & today I have very bad knees. I still love my Western style by choice for riding in till today. I'm 69 y.o. but haven't been on a horse in years now, but that's not to say, that I wouldn't jump back on a nice Quarter Horse right now, if I only had the chance!! There's just something about that breed and feeling so comfortable with all that muscle and speed under me, that just keeps me coming back for more till today. My friends own a ranch over there, and I've gone back & rode on their horses, but man alive, my hips and legs were so sore for the next 2 day's!! Jason you guys are still young, you should go ahead and go riding somewhere. It will help to keep your joints loosened and working properly, it'll be good for you & especially for Brooke to do it now and at least every once in a while! My mistake was I didn't keep it up and now I have RA, it's gotten really bad over this summer. Now I'm afraid, it'll be a lot harder for me to be able to just enjoy, even a short, calm trail ride again. I'm afraid that my whole body is being riddled with RA now, and I would just ache so badly for at least a week!! Take my advice & get back on a horse now while you still can! Go ahead and spread those joints all back out again, before they become so badly laced with Arthritis!! You still have time, your much younger than I was. Back then I was in my later 50's, and I would do it all over if I could! Horseback riding is a very good exercise, you'll end up using a lot of muscles that you don't use everyday, when you ride a horse! Mary Carl should also go on a trail ride with you guys. Tell her that a horse, will get her places that are so far back into the woods or the mountain areas, that she'll probably see more bird species than she would even in that kayak!! It'll be a good experience & exercise for her too! Maybe she would enjoy it even more, if she were able to take along another 1 or 2 bird watching friends of hers?? Maybe you could find a ranch that offers trail rides, with group discount rates into the wooded or lake areas? Well, whatever you decide to do, I hope you all have lots of fun & you really get to enjoy yourselves too! God bless 🙏 with much Love 💞 & Aloha 🌺 from Yvonne 🌺 & Ke Koa🐕! Happy trails 🐎🐎🐎***
Enjoy your supper. This was a fun video. Really enjoyed the talk about horses. When I was a little kid always wanted one. Never thought that living in a suburban neighborhood wasn’t meant for horses. lol 😂Lol 😂😂😂 I always told my parents it could live in the garage. Lol😂😂😂😂. These days I’d be scared to ride one……got wiser in my older age. Have a great rest of the day!! 😊❤️
Had to watch the replay this morning missed the live, someone once told me the cheapest part of owning a horse is when you buy it. Have a wonderful day today!
I am happy you were able to make some good goat cheese I would love to try goat cheese. We are having a cool snap here in Indiana and I love it. In the low 70's and in the 50s at night.
Mules are very sure footed that’s why they make great trail horses. They won’t go anywhere where they don’t feel safe. Horses will listen to man and go where they are asked. A mule is a great ride. My fav was Ike. He would jump into the bed of a truck turn around and jump out when asked. My friend hunted Raccoons on him and that’s how he transported him. I will never forget him.
I had an uncle who owned show horses, and 1 of them was a Tn Walker. Her name was Midnight she was so gentle, us kids got to cool her off aft being rode.
I don’t want to rush time but I am looking forward to fall and some cooler weather here in Colorado. I’m not ready for snow but crisp cool air will be nice! 😅
Hi Jason and Brooke, call your Foresty Department to find out about your controled burn. That is the cutest picture of Mary Carl and the pony. Big John was a big boy!!!!! I am having a cheese sandwich with chips and a pickle LOL God bless and until next time take care now.
Hey from Edmonton Alberta Canada 🇨🇦..we have have a 26c temperature here with 32% humidity …a good day for me to be inside watching you..I can’t handle the heat
Thats the reason I could not drink milk at school because I was used to drinking fresh cow milk on the farm.Schools was pasteurized. I still can't drink store milk today. Im 83 now. Fresh cow milk was the best.
Concerning your thick woods. You guys should collaborate with Arms Family Homestead. Probably not 20 acres, but knock down a few yards back and give you a clear hillside to get to the spring. Daniel loves operating his skid steer. Or your man Brent that built the pond.
I like your talk about peacock colonies. There are quite a few of them here in Hillsborough County, FL. They were left behind when the old citrus groves shut down. The old farmers used to use them as burglar alarms since they would make a racket over trespassers.
Might want to watch some episodes of Gunsmoke and see Festus Hagen riding his mule, Ruth to see how Ruth (who was a “he”) moved. When I was a child my daddy had 2 mules that he worked on the farm in the spring. They were named Tobe and Emma. When they got old and died he had them buried on the farm. Wonderful memories of growing up on the farm. It would be great to see videos of Cog Hill at The Cottle House. Brenda Gantt’s videos are great too. I ordered her cookbooks and one arrived in yesterday’s mail.
I drank milk from the cow most of my early years. We made butter and cottage cheese and ice cream. Once we left the dairy and had to buy milk it tasted like water down to me.
Here in Portland Oregon we have a neighborhood that has a large colony of wild Peacocks. The residents there are very protective of them. Someone had a couple and they got loose. Hence the colony of wild peacocks
We live not too far from the Mississippi River. A couple of years ago during the Spring high water, when there was much driftwood and mixed everything floated in at the Ferry Landing. You never know what will be left when the River starts falling. That year a peacock that got caught on something was left at the Ferry Landing. Either wildlife ate him or sounds from a nearby farm drew him in.
When I listen to you, I recall memories of my own. Thank you! The peacocks 😊, snakes 😊, I have so many stories. (Just one), one morning, I heard a sound on my front porch, I looked out the window, and saw three full grown peacocks, sitting on my flower boxes, eating my flowers. I was enchanted, by those birds. We lived in a rural area. Our neighbors had peacocks, I knew that because, I heard them every night, when they went to roost. They would walk all around the area. We’ve moved now, I miss those birds. Mrs. Debbie
Scott's colony was his chickens. So when you moved the chickens too, Scott and Ozella stuck fast to them and stayed around. The problem with folks bringing a peacock to their place, they don't bring along companions from their colony.
Few yrs ago we had a bar on a quiet country street with a family of peacocks. Guess the owner loved and fed them. We thought they were beautiful. I'm in Lk CO, central Fla

If wishes were horses, beggars would ride. I’m a horse owner and they are the greatest. Such loves.
Brenda is wonderful in teaching how to do things from scratch. I love watching her.
Hey y’all, this is my favorite TH-cam channel and family. Love Holly and all the other amazing animals ❤
They are all special and unique!
No worries.

What Horses?
Who's Brenda? If someone would PLZ tell me.

I said he was my boyfriend cause he was so sweet and loved his soft peppermint candy.
Love y'all. Best videos on You Tube.

Good idea
@@archaprice3372very generous but many people sell them individually.
They make great toys to play with your cats.

Jami is SO into gardening now! She really appreciates all your knowledge and help.
I Love everything you do.. LOVE YOU Guys
I wish I never said anything wrong and nasty because you just made me realize how damaging it really is. 68 and still learning how to cherish and to love more each day!❤
Just love the whole bunch of ya!
Love MC and the pony .... precious .❤🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤎
That precious picture of MC and her pony. ❤️😊
She is such a cutie pie and a sweetheart!

There's no such thing as a FREE horse! Yes, they are all beautiful! There's nothing better for the inside of a human than the outside of a horse. Soooooooo true!

I love watching Miss Brenda.. someone remarked on her clothing once.. that miffed me so much!!
Horses are the most magnificent animal created. Man’s backbone !! Grew up with 8. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh my goodness. I just looked for and subscribed to Brenda Gantt . She is wonderful!!!!
Jason I agree I do enjoy memories on Facebook too. Your family's adventures at the farm bring joy to my daily life. Thank you all.

Loretta's antics with her bowl are hilarious. I'm lol here.
Always enjoy watching you two. Thank you for a great live.

Ms Katherine, get you a 20gauge. That's the only way to deal with rattlesnakes. ❤
I’m with you Brooke closer to Fall!❤️🙏🏻🇺🇸🇳🇮
I’m in Ohio and we have really cool weather
I bet your farm stand customers would love to buy a bouquet of peacock feathers
My Silver is a Tennessee Walker and a total love.
Every horse has its own gate. Gates aren’t determined by type of horse.
Lots of florists will buy peacock feathers.
I had an uncle who owned show horses, and 1 of them was a Tn Walker. Her name was Midnight she was so gentle, us kids got to cool her off aft being rode.
Brenda runs the Cottle House, cooks breakfast for the BNB, has cooked for catering events.
Mom was living in rural Clarksville TN. Went to visit. Heard what sounded like a woman screaming. Mom told me there were peacock living near by.
Jason you could always talk to Nugget , he would tell you all you need to know .He is a marvelous listener.

Thank you for sharing!

SHE'S had the B & B forever
I missed the live, completely forgot while thinking about a grilled tuna melt made with salmon. Great live.❣️
I just saw a channel using goat cheese in a bell pepper for a side dish. Think it was “Feeding the Birds”. That’s their last name. I love the channel

Love Brenda Gantt, would love to stay at her Bed and Breakfast. It's called the Coddle House.
Big John is a handsome horse !
