Very jealous of that garden centre! I have to order most of mine online.
Looking forward to seeing the new haul!
It was so exciting seeing all those plants lol
The slime in your sarracenia plant is actually cyanobacteria and thats why it smelled like a swamp when you cut it open. Good luck saving the few that showed signs of life.
Gross! Thank you hopefully they’ll make it 😳
The Flytrap Garden? More like the Flytrap Doctor!
Hahaha thank you!
I bought a venus fly trap and a trumpet plant. The venus fly trap is thriving and growing bigger, while the trumpet plant doesn't seem to be doing that great. Both potted the same, both getting the same artifical 6500k light. Still stumped on why the trumpets dry at the tips. I live in the tropics so the humidity is high. They both sit in shallow water all the time. I used pearlite mixed with African violet mix.
Такие растения должны жить в горшках с автополивом😘
The lack of pot holes and sun must’ve killed them.
Most definitely
At 6:55 that grass is probably the reason that plant looked better than the others. In a standard garden with lots of fertility, the grass would be competition, stealing nutrients from the soil that you want your cultivated plants to get. In this situation, it probably helped to keep nutrient levels down as the anaerobic bacteria decomposed things. A true, if unintentional, companion plant.
One of my favorite channels
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoy it 😁
Honestly looks like the rhizomes were planted too deeply. Sand is fine as long as it’s silica sand. I like a larger grit sand
I've recently repotted some sarracenia and I was worried about washing their roots.
Do you have to wash the roots with distilled water or can you use regular water just for washing
Hi
why the title say venus flytrap when its sarracenia
It says flytrap not Venus flytrap
@@TheFlytrapGarden you get my point though
@@whited5009 I've never seen it called the Venus flytrap garden??
@@Rakka7what about it
