The first reference to the morning star as an individual is in Isaiah 14:12: “How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!” (NIV). The KJV and NKJV both translate “morning star” as “Lucifer, son of the morning.” It is clear from the rest of the passage that Isaiah is referring to Satan’s fall from heaven (Luke 10:18). So in this case, the morning star refers to Satan. In Revelation 22:16, Jesus unmistakably identifies Himself as the morning star. Why are both Jesus and Satan described as the “morning star”?
It is interesting to note that the concept of the “morning star” is not the only concept that is applied to both Jesus and Satan. In Revelation 5:5, Jesus is referred to as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. In 1 Peter 5:8, Satan is compared to a lion, seeking someone to devour. Satan is similar to a lion in that he seeks to devour other creatures. That is where the similarities between Jesus, Satan, and lions end, however. The idea of a “bright morning star” is a star that outshines all the others. Satan, as perhaps the most beautiful creation of God, probably the most powerful of all the angels, was a bright morning star. Jesus, as God incarnate, the Lord of the universe, is THE bright and morning star. Jesus is the most holy and powerful “light” in all the universe. So, while both Jesus and Satan can be described as “bright morning stars,” in no sense is this equating Jesus and Satan. Satan is a created being. His light only exists to the extent that God created it. Jesus is the light of the world (John 9:5). Only Jesus’ light is self-existent. Satan may be a bright morning star, but he is only a poor imitation of the one true bright morning star, Jesus Christ, the light of the world.

Lucifer is the Latin name for the planet Venus. It is not Satan’s name. The Jews never interpreted Isaiah 14:12 to be about Satan. Rather about the king of Babylon. That is the only scripture that term is found. Jesus used the term Satan. Jesus spoke directly to Satan and did not call him lucifer.
Lucifer will only be found in the KJV because of the inability of the translators to translate the Hebrew word helel. They went to the Latin Vulgate and used the word from Jerome’s translation. Most modern versions use morning star (the planet Venus is seen in the early morning sky). Some use light bearer.

I am not sure the name of this pastor, but he is on point. After researching Theosophy I thought it seemed to be something I agreed with until further research revealed that the god of Theosophy is Lucifer. Luciferian worship has many cover names. E. Swedenborgh was the founder of the New Christian Church ( church of reason). His description of Jesus is identical to that of Lucifer. I am a witness.Read up to Isaiah 14:16. It reads that he is speaking about a MAN when he speaks of the Lucifer to the same MAN referred to as Lucifer. He sarcastically asks if this is the MAN that made the earth to tremble etc... when they that look upon him see him after he is brought down. That does not match up with Revelations 12:9 where Satan is cast INTO the earth. Nor does that describe that Christ is brought down to nothing as the passage of Isaiah 14 describes what happens to the King of Babylon who sat on the throne who at that time was Nebacanezzer. I don't doubt that them who rule wrote and go by what he reported but if ye believe in Christ, trust His word. He is the Most High and is more powerful than most give Him credit for. If Lucifer is indeed a title and not a name then this information breaks the fragile foundation that all Luciferian Doctrines are built upon.

I believe jesus is a fallen angel, son of God, as described in Genesis 6:1-4. The new testament is not a continuation of the Old Testament God, since God never changes. jesus consulted the ghosts of Moses and Elijah...I agree that Elijah could have still been a living man, since God took him, but it talks about the death and funeral of Moses, so Moses would have been a dead spirit and God forbids consulting dead spirits. jesus is a false messiah that no historian even mentions. Allowing amen in the church setting to begin with sets the rest of the message on a false beginning, amen is recognizing an Egyptian deity. Isaiah 14:12 should be accompanied by Revelation 22:16 where jesus even admits that he is lucifer...the morning sun-Venus. Just like the Venus of the Muslim flag. There is none but God that deserve our praise, there is no one beside God and there is no son of God, although we are the children of God....the sons of God are fallen angels.
You've got it backwards. Yahweh is an angel it states it in acts by Stephen. Everyone is confused the truth is much more simple. I heard that Hebrew held value in its text as well as having no vowels. It also only had 8 to 9000 words in its language. As the pastor mentioned. Depending on how the words were used, it could have several different meanings. Like the English language we have many words that sound the same but are spelled different and have different meanings.
