AoL was great but Story of Yanxi Palace was tremendous popular, Wikipedia says during its run, it was streamed over 15 billion times, now I need to go watch it 😊

LBFAD is the reason why I started watching chinese drama! That show is fcking masterpiece. It has everything I want in a drama.. It's just too good. And Starry love for 2023 is the best for me.
My favourite that never seem to be mentioned anywhere is "Bloody Romance". Anyone familiar with it that could suggest something similar? Wuxia, Artistic, bad ass choreography, serious tone, strong women lead that doesn't act like a 10 years old when she see a flower, limited magic system.... I'm having hard time finding something.
@@shaziashakeel706 Yes, it's probably my favourite too, mainly because of Lee Joon Gi who was a real discovery for me. The female protagonist IU played was really annoying though, as you would have never thought she was a 'modern age' girl. I couldn't stand her quietly crying like 3/4 of the series. It was just the way the character was written in the Kdrama script I guess because in the Cdrama version the female protagonist wasn't as annoying all the time crying. Don't get me wrong, I loved IU in My Mister though, because she played a totally different character. I just hate these helpless infantilised female roles you get in so many Kdramas, which are just trying to be 'cute' but are just annoying most of the time.

My favorite ever is 1. General and I, 2. Yanxi palace, 3 Weiyoung palace. 4. Cruel Romance I have to add 2023 Wonderland of love.
I rewatch these dramas and more and watch it as if it is my first time...laughing out loud about my emperor and Wei Yinglou. And enjoy the chemistry and love between Chu Beijie and Pingting while being entertained by my revenge princess of Weiyoung.❤❤❤❤ The sword and the brocade have to be mentioned..

My favourite that never seem to be mentioned anywhere is "Bloody Romance". Anyone familiar with it that could suggest something similar? Wuxia, Artistic, bad ass choreography, serious tone, strong women lead that doesn't act like a 10 years old when she see a flower, limited magic system.... I'm having hard time finding something.

@@shaziashakeel706 Yes, it's probably my favourite too, mainly because of Lee Joon Gi who was a real discovery for me. The female protagonist IU played was really annoying though, as you would have never thought she was a 'modern age' girl. I couldn't stand her quietly crying like 3/4 of the series. It was just the way the character was written in the Kdrama script I guess because in the Cdrama version the female protagonist wasn't as annoying all the time crying. Don't get me wrong, I loved IU in My Mister though, because she played a totally different character. I just hate these helpless infantilised female roles you get in so many Kdramas, which are just trying to be 'cute' but are just annoying most of the time.

I also hate that "cute" thing but I couldn't help falling for So Soo couple so badly coz of Lee Joon Gi I came to K drama, Scarlet heart hits different and was so happy to hear they got married and you know what I even commented LJG to marry IU but he said they are just friends as I wanna see in Scarlet Heart Ryeo a happy ending, if not I could see Lee Lee couple in a real life...😫😭
