Sir Padhana was a big Mandi in the past
Sir chakwal ki jaghon ko b visit krain, Qilla kusak hai ik kisi ko b ni pta is bary , Ketas raj mandron k pass sy rasta jata hai (Kusak ussi jaga ka naam b hai ), r us k bad ik Qilla nandana hai(jahan al berooni ny zameen ka qutar measure kiya tha) chakwal r jehlhm k border py. ab tu ik dewar e hai but history idr b hai .
So I know place on Jaranwala Road..
From shahdra towards Sharaqpur road there is a village it's call Dhamka, there is a Sikh time's a lottle white tomb. I heard about that tomb, during a war or local battle Ranjeet singles one son died there and they burnt his body on that place and built a little memorial there. You should visit and find out.
And some very old houses in Sharaqpur belongs to Hindu families.. sharaqpur was built in the wall with 3 doors. And still today if those 3 doors are closed nobody can enter in the city.. you can find many Hindu and Sikh properties in the middle of the city..

Padhana was a village Sandhu Jatt Sikhs. I know few friends from Padhana who settled in Patti area of India (ex district Lahore), top most is Waryam Sandhu a famous story writer, S. Ajaib Singh Sandhu SBOP officer, Giyani Jawahar Singh, a teacher, National award teacher Late sh. basant Lal ( Khaliq Padhanvi) and S. Inderjit S. Sandhhu, a police officer and his son Gurinder Singh Sandhu, an Advocate. I think they are desendants of S. Jawala Singh Sandhu.@@JRMEHRA

In one sentence you describe about our , good care and preservation of Mughal period architecture,in India we Hindu muslim both community living like brother, so it is reality that we care these historical monuments like our value able heritage, with out making difference between Mughal period or pre Mughals Era.
What about babri and other mosques you destroyed

Ashwani dear its not about mughal era or pre Mughal era.. here very few historical buildings are preserved due to lack of funds ... it has nothing to do with Hindu , Muslim era ...

The way you articulate it’s beautiful. I’m a sikh from Amritsar but live in U.S. I really appreciate the way u explained everything. In sikh raaj no one was punished like that old man who has absolutely no knowledge just seems to dislike sikhs . Sikh raaj is only raaj in the world whr women weren’t raped, people weren’t involuntarily converted into other religions, and sikh raaj did not discriminate against anyone!!!!!

@@BaalWala I disagree! Other cultures will always try to disgrace you by rewriting or hiding the truth or the actual facts There hasn’t been A Ruler like Maharaja Ranjit Singh in any culture period. He was god loving and god fearing individual.
The man could be making up these stories, he looks like the type...but this comes out of a place of hurt during partition... majority of the Muslim women were raped by Sikh men and men were brutality killed...no one hates Sikh religion here in Pakistan but we cannot forget what happened to our men and women who migrated from Eastern Punjab...this tragedy is still burning in the hearts of many...
No one in Pakistan dislike sikh etc. Here are many and live in harmony.
But yeah, people still remember the stories that their grandparents told them about partition and what happened to women.
