The prolines don’t come with oil, really surprised you dint check this 😬 will be a hell of an improvement once you add oil 😂 certainly work great for Bashing with the BigRock 😉
you would think with any shock first thing you do is dump what ever is in them and put the oil that you run in them so that you can tune them .
Opening scene is 'typical' of most every sct body. Least was when I raced sct for 18 yrs🤷♂️
We always let off throttle exiting the take off. Can always WFO before landing to stabilize. That's what slippers (2wd) & diff oil are for.
I put these shocks on my senton last summer with 60 weight oil and it is a huge improvement over stock

The 3s proline powerstroke shocks don't have shock oil included.
I've got Losi's 35 weight in my Powerstrokes for my Typhon 3S. They are expensive but they are definitely worth it.
@@adamgriff7286 I bought mine, probably close to two years ago now, but haven’t been running RC as much. The plan was to put them on my 3S Typhon, or Granite. I actually heard the shock and this can still break pretty easy! Assuming you have not experienced any of that?

I took my dremel an cut open the vents on the hood as well as the back window. I didn't cut the hole vent out i just made slices in the rear of the vent.
I bought the hot racing shock bodies for my senton it uses the stick springs pistons and perch, I like the factory shocks but being able to adjust without using the clips is nice and they haven’t leaked at all, I did the same with one of my granites and have been happy with them so far

My senton got stolen a few years back got it when they first came I bought one upgraded to the hr spur with the steel clutch plates I had powerstroke shocks from a slash on it they weren't quite big enough I'm curious are they holding up well
I much prefer the stock shocks or the aluminium upgrade for these 3s cars. Most aftermarket shocks just aren't as really bash tuned.
Have you used these pro line shocks made for the 3S line? They are pretty awesome tuned correctly… I would say clearly Wayover priced though and the eBay shocks for about $20 a pair are really good assuming they are the ones you’re talking about.
@@williamperri3437 nope. I'm talking about Arrma's aluminium upgrade shocks. Not eBay shocks, they're often the worst for damping, durability and replacement parts.

So im searching for a good vid that shows what these expensive shocks do.. i like your vids but have yet to find a vid yet that the installer puts oil in the socks before they run them 🤷 still seraching. Keep her up and have a good time bud 👍

The box recommends 45wt oil 35wt oil is way to thin

go to the horizon link you supplied for those shocks and it says "Pre-assembled Just Add Oil!". there aint no oil in those shocks. c'mon you know better. this is my favorite RC channel but i have to give this video a thumbs down.
