Cam Cover Bushing Fixture Nbr. 98

If you’ve ever changed cam bushing on an Ironhead cam cover you know that holding the cover ready for drilling the anti-rotation pin holes can be a challenge. So can holding on to the crankcase while eating the bushing holes. Here is my solution tooth problems in one tool.

That's another one of your good ideas. Seems to work well. I wonder what Harley dealers used back when dealer mechanics used to rebuild engines. I know of no Harley fixture for working on cam bushings.

It does, conceivable for somebody who is doing a one of, you could even use a piece of wood.

But what about the pressure exerted onto the sealing surface by the tool your using.....

There is very little pressure exerted on the sealing surface and I protect it with washers under the nuts.
