    Thanks for the video. I ride a gen 2 and love it too bits. As you mentioned it has a bad boy character to it, and even though it’s quite of in bike years, it’s still pretty fast for its age. They were nicknamed “ wheelbarrow” bikes due to the twin exhausts 😁. But I absolutely love my gen 2. Haven’t taken a gen 3 through the twisties yet, but the gen two is so comfortable and provides so much feedback , you never have any doubt as to what the bike can handle and how far you can push her . Thanks for the vid, stay safe out there 😁😁👍🏻

    retired my gen 1 for a low km gen 3 suspension was rubbish didnt want to turn in but after mods is a quick piece of kit mods decat and pipe flash suspension job modified lower tripple clamp -1 tooth in front got rid of ugly mirrors and rewired indicators to park lights speedo healer now corners like a champ 166bhp not bad for an old girl

    I have a gen 2 just like yours. Someone removed the flames i’m going back with original paint. But i was amazed on how comfortable it is. Prior to it i rode ZX9R and it was definitely uncomfortable. I had lots of work done to it but my ZX10R seems to have more power . I absolutely love the bike. Thank you for your video

      Thank you for watching! I was really in love with the 2001 era zx9r when they came out! But yeah, these zx10R's really have some power!!

      Comfort surprised me too. I took my 14R in for a cervix a few months ago, saw one of these, always wanted one since release day but thought it'd suck for a >6-footer, sat on it and found it to be comfier than the 14! Plus it felt like a toy compared to mine, so bloody light. Itching to buy one.

    I Love all gen1 gen2 ans Gen 3. But.... The gen3 is more vibrating at Low Rpm then the other 2 Bikes.

      I definitely notice the vibrations on my Gen3 as well! It is still a great bike but I hope they did better on the newer ones!

    Thanks for the video I choose gen2!
    You seems knowledgeable regarding to these bikes so perhaps you'll know: could I fit gen3 engine is my gen2 frame? Engine blow up and I can buy a really low milage gen3 engine

      From what I know they are close enough. I would research it but I think that is possible.

    Gen 2 looks better, but the valve keeper issue is concerning

      cheap to replace as preventative maintenance when doing a valve inspection though. Kibblewhite retainers in mine, 80,000km and still going strong.

    Ninja 250r to 09 zx10? In a couple of months ill upgrade to a zx10 any tips?

    • @944withnos
      @944withnos  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, I have a bunch of bikes! I didnt jump from a ninja 250 to a zx10r though, haha. My tips for a zx10r would be take it easy when your getting familiar with your new bike. They have a lot of power! If you are buying used keep an eye out for abuse or wrecks and use that to bargain for a good deal! I think you'll be happy with it.
