jennierubyjane loveblinks bc Pledis sucks in general. He put Son Dambi in the dungeon until she left his company. Then debuted After School and they were so successful and now look them. They haven’t had a comeback since 2013 I believe. When NU’EST debuted they were so successful but Pledis decided to build their fan base out side Korea and then they failed and was kept in the dungeon until a couple years ago. Hello Venus was given to another company cuz Pledis had no money. In fact they used After Schools money to help feed NU’EST. Orange Caramel was a great success. Never heard back from them either. Then they debuted Seventeen. Pledis had no money when they debuted. In fact the only reason Seventeen debuted was bc they decided to take it into their own hands and do it all themselves. Like S.coups said, they don’t self produce bc they want to, they self produce bc they need to. Once all the money came in from Seventeen’s success pledis took it all and only gave 30-40% of the income to them. That’s not a lot between 13 boys. Then Pledis copyrighted half of their stuff. The members had to use ear buds as ear ins bc Pledis wouldn’t buy them any. When NU’EST was getting ready for a comeback, Pledis scratched it and said to go ion the Produce show. Along with Pledis girls (girl trainees of Pledis) and After School. One member of NU’EST won and a couple of pledis girl trainees won. And still after that Pledis decided that they were going to disband NU’EST. If it weren’t for LOVE then they wouldn’t be here. Sadly no one from After School won and they r still being kept in the dungeon. After Pristin’s debut was a success, Pledis decided to keep them in the dungeon for 2 years. Then disbanded them this year. This isn’t even all of what Pledis has done but this is enough evidence to prove how much we hate Pledis.

Oh god i feel so bad for xiyeon. she trained 9 freaking years under pledis. she literally devoted more than half of her life for her career yet this what pledis repays her. im rlly worried for her mental health cus she posted an alarming caption on ig and then deleted it. she's trying so hard to heal from the wounds that pledis caused :(((

That "home home home" part 1:24 in the chorus is actually a KSL (Korean Sign Language) for people who have impared hearing. Pretty U, Thanks and now Home, imagine being this considerate for those who can't hear or listen to their songs, not only they're doing their own choreographies but everything is beautifully and well crafted. They just don't make choreography for the sake of it, butalso rely the core message of their songs to those who aren't able to hear their music. These are one of the reason why I'm a proud Carat. T_T

I feel guilty commenting, bc i actually dont know anything about seventeen (i know girl groups better and am a casual kpopper). But seventeen's talents brought me here. Seventeen and carats have such a good reputation and positive impression. idk y but seventeen seems like the most wholesome boy group ive ever seen. I honestly only hear good things about them. Home is haha, seriously one of the best songs ive ever heard imo😭. It's the kind of experience where you hear a few beautiful notes and you are drawn in. Bc that is exactly how it happened to me. Ok tbh.... i had to check it out when they kept singing happy birthday during their win, and they were all so silly and happy and that song just wouldnt leave me. It's so warming and healing😲 and has a deep impact that always stays in your heart. Seventeen is very talented overall and dance beautifully, cleanly and synchronized. But what surprised me is that seventeen has so many members, but they let each member shine. In videos where the groups are big (more than hm, 8 members, sometimes even less), there are always hidden members that blur into the background, with forgettable parts that make you wonder if they didnt have lines. Ive heard it said nicely, like they are a bouquet. But seventeen members are proudly shown as unique jewels. The fandom is really aptly titled carats. Seventeen and carats truly must be a home for each other. What an impressive and admirable group and fandom.

I'm not carat but i really admire svt's choreographies. It never fails to amaze me. The emotions are really conveyed thru the dance moves and their synchronisation and formations are genius. Plus that every each of the members are such good dancers. SVT deserves the title as one of the best boy groups in korea.

....i dont think it's any special... like literally, every group (dancing or singing) gives everyone a chance to dance at the front and middle, its the rule, everyone has to be in the leading position for a certain amount of time to make the group look uniform ( I'm a dancer)

Seventeen always encorporates such unique and aesthetically pleasing dance moves that just make my heart explode.
I don't think they've ever made a choreography that dissapointed me, all of them have given a wow factor to me, i really love the spins in the pre chorus and i love how powerful their moves are in the first chorus (before the drop) idk, just soft vocals with powerful moves are fucking amazing (sorry for swearing, seventeen just hit my heart way too much in this comeback)
I'm so thankful that they gave out such a beautiful choreography while releasing such a wonderful song.

As someone who admires the artform of dance and is exposed to a variety of groups in kpop, I can confidently say seventeen, if not the best, is one of the best choreographed groups in the entirety of kpop. The thing is kpop does not lack quality, there’s a myriad of groups with extremely talented dancers, challenging yet well executed choreographies, well communicated sentiments through performance stages and so forth. What sets seventeen apart is not the “toughness” of their choreo on a scale of how much it fares as a cardio workout, but the sheer balance in their execution. Much of their choreo is visually simple and minimal and they maximise on “point” choreos and precision of execution. The large number of the troupe plays to their advantage for formations, ripple and domino effects and so forth. Seventeen captures artistry in this performance. They show that choreo need not be loud and in-your-face to communicate the sentiment, there’s a very clear development of artisanship in their history as group. I truly, truly admire them, despite not being a carat.
How well have you articulated the whole thing. I mean I agree how their choreography or dance isn't very 'in your face', but it's sort of subtle yet very impactful. It's so smooth. It's like poetry in motion somehow, their synchronisation I mean.

Seventeen have a bond that NO one can explain, not even us Carat, but we can feel it, and with every comeback and dance they express how much they feel and the talent they have. How in the world could they have that many members but still maintain a clean cut dance routine?? They are amazing dancers, very clean in their dance moves. I love how synchronized and pretty their formation looks. If they are choreographying this entire song, they really know what they're doing. One of move that really stood out to me was when they actually twirl a few times, NOTHING looked sloppy... especially with the amount of people they have in their group. How can that be??? Just amazing!! Beautiful choreography for seriously every song that I've seen thus far from them. They are truly a talented group.

We just really have to appreciate Kwon Soonyoung and everyone who helps in choreographing Seventeen’s music. Hoshi’s such a talented choreographer and I love how he always incorporates Korean sign language into their dance. For example, in the chorus, when they’re making a house out of their hands, that literally means “home” or “house.” Also in THANKS they sign “promise” in the chorus. These little things sometimes go unnoticed but they really mean a lot to some people. I just want everyone to know about this. Seventeen really cares about their fans and they tell it through their song writing, hard work, dedication, and choreography. I’m proud to be a carat! 💕
Theres also that door opening move at 1:30 and 2:57, its like opening the door to their/our home.

*performance team. Hoshi himself never takes credit for just himself,in every occasion he always mentions how this and that person from performance team takes part in making choreography (the member differs every comeback). It's sad how we Carats are used to under appreciate that and Hoshi has to remind us every time that he doesn't choreograph alone:(

No they were singing live. You can clearly hear their voices. It just sounded so similar to the studio version that a lot of people think svt would lipsync. After all they are a 5 yr old group they arent new to this

Even with all those hard moves. Which is why I love them. Their dances are out of this world and so are their live singing is so stable that it's so worthy of admiration.

Im gunna say one thing to the people who dont think that svt's dancing is the best in kpop. I have tried to dance to most of svt's songs, they are hard. Once you have to sync choreo with others paired with the fact that the more people u have to do it with makes it harder, causes the difficulty rating to increase exponentially. Now with the choreography itself. The choreo is super smooth thanks to their choreographers and even themselves.I have danced to a lot of stray kids. and let me say, their choreo is a lot easier then svts. People put stray kids at the top of their best dance groups list but svt's choreo is still harder quicker and difficult to pull off, and on top of this Svt still pulls of their choreo cleaner and more in sync than every single other group.
side note: many people underestimate how good their solo dancing it just because its the group who does it and no one rlly stands out cuz theyre all soo gud. but people like hoshi woozi the8, etc. are phenomenal dancers. they are up there with taemin hoshi and jimin *more mainstream dancers*
tbh Stray kids is my ultimate group, but when it comes to choreography, SVT is number 1 while NCT is number 2, ATEEZ is number 3 and Stray Kids is number 4 and BTS is number 5

one of the many things that i will always love and appreciate about seventeen: because they write their own music and make their own choreographies, you can definitely see the beautiful marriage between music, lyrics, and dance. they all entwine and compliment each others' meanings, conveying such emotion and getting the message across in such a way that leaves you breathless. plus, no matter what genre or style they're trying out, there will always be that distinct SEVENTEEN twang. you can't really see this with groups who outsource their music from different producers, or get their dances from choreographers who make the routine based off of demos. god, i love seventeen :")
Nadindra Sutrisno I wholeheartedly agree. Another thing I really love is the units, both the fixed and random mixed units they do. They focus on themselves as individual artists, but they always put Seventeen first :)
In my opinion, I think Woozi nailed the dance routine at the chorus part especially the first one. His footwork was so smooth, I'm in awe. I'm not a carat and this is just my opinion ❣️

Oh I hope they will achieve the goals they set for themselves soon. Just read somewhere that this album has attained #1 in Japan’s Oricon Chart... Woozi is a talented songwriter. Is Hoshi really the choreographer? Perhaps one of the choreographers? Amazing work ethics, which remind all of us that we must find careers that bring joy.

They are no doubt one of the best dancers in the kpop industry. Even the angle of their foot all looks the same, even the little details, all members are doing the exact same thing. They are mirroring each other. If you watching this countless of times, you'll see how they execute a little move the same time with the same look or angle. Its just so satisfying.

Seventeen's choreography and dance are not only good just because they are synchronize its more than that and fans should appreciate it more. Their dances always take advantage of their big numbers, always have intricate details that tells a story that they execute so well.They have smooth dance levels,transitions and formations yet at the same time allows who is singing be emphasize. If you understand the lyrics their dances expresses that and the music itself so well. Also each Seventeen member have their own dance style yet can dance like one unit.

Okay but you need to understand this, I'm not a carat, I don't know any of their bside tracks, hell I don't even know all of the members. But every damn year when seventeen doesn't win best dance at award shows I get so PISSED. they're literally the only group since their debut who deserve this award more than anything. Their choreo are always mesmerizing beautiful, ALL of them can dance exceptionally good, they're so in sync it's scary. I don't understand how other groups could even get nominated for best dance when seventeen exists. Exo once one that award and I live and breathe for them since 2011 but I got super angry cause they're nowhere even close to seventeen's talent in dancing-- I don't know about the 2017/18/19 debuted idols, but everything from seventeen till then, no one is better.
