topspin_14 that’s what I have been thinking for a long time. There is a story in their dances and majority don’t fit the beat, but matching the words, which I appreciate a lot
but haters always say svt is nothing bcs their songs is not catchy and brainwashed, i kinda wanna throw my shoes to their face bich. THE REASON WHY I STAN THEM IS BECAUSE THEY USE THEIR CHOREO AND LYRICS TO TELL PEOPLES THEIR STORY, EVEN IF SOME OF THEIR SONGS ARE NOT CATCHY AS OTHER KPOP GROUPS BUT THEIR CHOREO IS TOTALLY ANOTHER LEVEL LOL
@@bunnyjihoon1207 lol Seventeen has the most catchy songs ever Very nice Don't wanna cry Boom boom Clap Home Pretty you Adore you MANSAE and many other songs

Just saw somebody saying Thanks doesn't deserve to win the best dance on MMA because there was nothing new, unique, and VIRAL... VIRAL??? Is this what dancing is now about? Going viral? And NOTHING UNIQUE? NOTHING NEW? They freaking used sign language so even people with disabilities could enjoy it. Know what. There's no award which would deserve to be given to Thanks. Thanks choreography isn't a dance. It's an ART.
oof i saw this on twitter too lol, popularity or going viral doesn't always equate to being great or being the best if thanks doesn't win best dance track/best choreo im suing lol
this choreography is really a masterpiece. I feel so much emotions while watching it, no matter how many times I already did. It deserves so much better.
If you look up the word ART in any language, in any dictionary, throughout all of history, you will never find a good enough definition for how absolutely AMAZING this choreography is!
I wish I could express how powerful and moving the choreography is, but I really can’t find words to. I think you all understand that trying to describe it is difficult, so I won’t try. I just think of groups like Got7 and NCT 127 who can dance so incredibly, but this dancing is so different because while they aren't as acrobatic as other groups, they still are able to tell us a story with their bodies and I think Seventeen has the most powerful and aw-inspiring choreography out of anybody I've ever seen.
ProjectAnimation yes. Surely. I felt it too, since Dont wanna cry, they've been dancing to express the story behind the lyrics of the song, n this one, just tear me up, of how they are so grateful to those who have supported them ol the way. Tq to u SVT!
It's great to say all good things about your faves but do you really need to bring in other groups for comparison?! Like, if you'd just typed your whole comment without adding got7 and nct, you could still make your point. I'm not a seventeen stan but I came here to see their dance cause it's really nice but there are other groups also that dance well AND a lot of good things can be said about them.....do we really need to drag everyone here though?!
Ahgase even though you break your head She's not dragging tho? It should be a compliment to de described as incredible dancers with a style different from svt. Why are y'all so defensive lol
The other groups I mentioned are astounding dancers and Got7 and NCT 127 are personal favourites of mine, I was just drawing the comparison because Seventeen is not a primarily dance-centred group but still managed to create something on par with that sort of power. I meant nothing horrible, it was an observation I made. You chose to interpret it negatively and to pick a fight, as if I said Seventeen is above them. A word of advice (not just for this but for life in general) would be to admire everybody for their own unique talents instead of seeking out confrontation. Idols create dances for us to admire, not bicker over. Listen to your advice to me and try next time to enjoy the videos for what they are. :)
One thing I love (out of many) about Seventeen's dancing is that altough they have 13 members it never looks crowded. It's easy for that to happen with so many people on a stage especially if that stage has limited space. Yet they always look well organized & it's never messy. Hoshi choreographs in such a unique way. He utilizes every member so even when they're not singing or center they still create beautiful formations, even if it's something simple & not only that but it creates a wonderful atmosphere. Our boys are the really special. I've been a carat for close to three years & I'm still amazed at how talented they are. I'm so proud to be a carat bc I'm supporting 13 people who aren't just amazing but strive to become better. Is it humanly possible? I didn't think so but they somehow always come back better than before. I'm so grateful for their hard work & I feel blessed I got to see them transform over the years. I'll continue to support Seventeen. Can't wait to see what they have in store for the future.
This is still one of my favourite choreographies of Kpop. I mean holy shit, the amount of different parts that happen at the same time is madness. Take 0:44 for example, there are so many smaller groups doing different things, and the groups change on almost every move. It’s mesmerising to watch as a whole and really interesting to see what each individual member is doing, cause it’s basically all different timings and movements from each other. Must have been so difficult to choreograph and teach, let alone learn!
Seventeen are honestly crazy good. They have 13 members, you'd think it would be messy and overcrowded on stage but it's not, they have flawless transitions, every single member moves cleanly and precisely and don't even get me started on the synchronisation. This choreography is a masterpiece, just when I thought Don't Wanna Cry choreo was the peak they make this perfection, when matched with the lyrics you can really feel how emotional and genuine they are. I really adore Seventeen, they are all my role models and I'm always proud of them every single day. One day they will reach the top, I'm 100% certain of that.
all of their choreographies have left me impressed, but none have truly awed me, taken my breath away, like this one has. it feels triumphant - there's a finality to it. it's absolutely spellbinding. as they dance, they are all part of one whole, interconnected in an almost inexplicable way. i am completely floored by this performance...
This is what we call a 'team'. They shine individually but they could 'shine' the whole world as a team. 세븐틴은 진정한 '팀'이 아닐까 싶습니다. 혼자도 빛낫지만 13명이 모여 있을때가 제일 빛이 난다.
The choreography is simply astounding like always. It's so obvious how much time, effort, and love they put into creating and practicing this. Seventeen's style can tell the watcher a story and that's what's so beautiful about it. Carats, Seventeen gave us their everything with this so let's give them our all too. Seventeen Fighting! Carats Fighting!
Is it just me or the first time you watch the video, you just stare at the center of the vid because probably: first, you don't know where to look at; second, you're basically testing their synchronization and; third, because you find it extremely satisfying to look at the same spot of the vid just to see them doing the same exactly sharp moves at the same time through your peripheral vision. Istg, S in Seventeen stands for Synchronization and every E in Seventeen stands for EXTREMELY SYNCHRONIZED or EXTREMELY TALENTED, or both.
Rilie Santiagudo Yessss! Someone understands! Whenever I watch Seventeen's choreography videos, I just always stare at the center because the synchronization is so clear and it's hard to explain how satisfying it is. They are overall really great dancers, plus this song is perfection. Tbh it's become hard for me to get overly impressed anymore when it comes to dance practices after watching seventeen. The amount of art and genius they put in their dancing is really amazing.
as a whole, seventeen are the best dancers in k-pop, period. their synchronization is through the roof, but if you pay attention to each individual member, they still have an aura that makes their movements distinctly theirs. not to mention their stage presence!! pure, unfiltered power radiates from them with every step. seriously, i could watch svt's dance videos all day, they're downright inhuman :")
Yes, there are *no* dance holes in seventeen. The members who weren't as strong in dance in the beginning have greatly improved and as a whole, I know they'll evolve even more.
As a huge Army and now a new Carat, you gotta give props when props are due. Fact: it is much more difficult to get synchronization with 13 members than it is with 7 members. Mad respect to these guys.
I love this choreo video so much. It's basically just like the MV-- a sort of "behind the scenes" of the whole making of the svt production. The boys in their practice clothes, probably doing a stage rehearsal or practice run of the dance before the big show.... it's beyond fitting for 'thanks' -- and raw and beautiful in every sense. Maybe that's why it's making me emotional.
I love how crisp & synchronised their choreographies are but they look so difficult & ALL their dances are high quality. They clearly are hard working. Please take the best care of our boys, Pledis.
I'm not exaggerating when I say this but this song is the first song I've listened to for about 5 months now everyday without getting tired of. Like I'm truly amazed that I'm still not tired of this song yet
i dont know if i can express this properly but just the dance aspect of seventeen by itself is so fluid and together yanno? its like this moving river that constantly cycles back within the members and they move their bodies so smoothly and expressively and i know thats the point of dance? but with seventeen especially i feel like you could tell so many stories with just one choreo, and theyre so like harmonious that you can just let your eyes slip between all the members and watch the whole group its so beautiful wow i love seventeen brb crying
Seems like hoshi were trying to say to haters that svt owns the best performance awards by making this hard choreography. Am i right or am i right?😄 (btw thanks to hoshi n perf unit n choreographer who made this its so freaking amazing!!¡!)
DK in this song really stood out to me in the MV because of the raw emotion he portrayed in his parts, I was thoroughly impressed when he was able to capture those same feelings on the stage with all of the other members as well. DK is honest to god one of the most talented idols I've ever witnessed.
Imagine the things they have to do to get this synchronization... “Ok so right here, make sure your right thumb is here” “your hair strand has to be at a 90 degree angle at the 0:53 second mark”
The thing about seventeens choreography is that they are so detail oriented you really have to pay attention otherwise the small detailed moves will go over ones head. That being said it’s not a bad thing it just requires so much focus it’s insane.
couldn't agree more, that's why I keep coming back to their dancing practice videos again and again. Each time I'll find something new. For example 1:57 they are imitating how flowers/plants behaved when being touch by wind. It's just so exquisite.
I just started liking seventeen and I think I fell in love with THE8 already from this part 2:39 I literally fell for him from the way he’s moving his head😫
THIS CHOREOGRAPHY IS SO GRACEFUL AND POWERFUL SEVENTEEN ARE REALLY OUT HERE DOING THIS YOUR FAVES COULD NEVER SEVENTEEN OUTSOLD THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING IVE SEEN IN MY LIFE THEY ARE SO POWERFUL
i KNOW like how can u not ult them or at least stan i dont understand. literally i showed them to my mom and she is confused why they arent the most popular kpop group.
some people think theres too many members or something and dont wanna bother learning all of them and stuff but I HONESTLY DONT KNOW WHAT THEYRE THINKING ITS THEIR LOSS.
Notice that DK has the center material. You can see from this video (and aju nice), even it's not his part, he's still being the center. Not to mention he is a good dancer and got nice facial expressions.
I kinda agree with you. I mean eventho svt don't have official center, but i do think dk, mingyu, jun could be a center. They got the characteristic as a good center.
This is Seventeen's best choreography. Junnie and Hoshi's solo part gave me hella chills. One of the most beautiful choreos I've seen honestly and no one can tell me otherwise
THIS IS SO FAR THE MOST CREATIVE KPOP CHOREOGRAPHY THAT I WATCHED. CAN'T STOP WATCHING HOW SMOOTH AND PERFECT EVERYTHING IS. EVERY SECOND IS WORTH TO WATCHHHH✨
I don't care what groups I stan. Seventeen will forever be my number one group when it comes to dancing!! They deserve to win choreography/performance awards every single year! Their dancing is on a whole other level and the fact that Hoshi and the rest of the performance team help choreograph the dances for Seventeen is even more mindblowing. Nothing but respect for Seventeen, they've never disappointed me!
Okay, wow. Seventeen has THE most tasteful and artistic choreography in kpop right now. I love how *beautiful* they are? There isn't that toughness and edge I'm used to when a boy group is going hard. Sure it's difficult but it's also just visually stunning and modern and elegant and I just can't stop coming up with descriptors! The emotion in this really sets them apart imho, like that move @ 2:05 when the members on the floor curl into themselves? I almost teared up it's so emotive! Kudos to them, wow
Who did the Choreo for this??? Hoshi? My god, the movement of this whole dance is amazing. You'd think that with so many members, it would look cluttered, but these boys are so great at using their large number to create amazing movement within the dances. Seventeen is definitely one of the top groups when it comes to sheer creativity and artistry of their choreo (not even mentioning their vocals, which are also amazing).
omegasage Yes. Hoshi did the choreo for this one. With the help of a professional choreographer. Usually, Hoshi is the one who always choreographs their title song on every album with the help of the performance team & a professional choreographer.
Yeah, I knew that Hoshi usually handled the choreography, but I didn't know they also had a pro choreographer to help (I guess that's obvious though haha). The performance team is really outstanding anyway
Min Hoshi True. I'm a frustrated dancer myself and it's really hard to come up with a dance that could capture the audience's attention. But Hoshi & the performance team really did a good job portraying the lyrics thru their dance. As always.
This is hands down THE best choreography I've ever seen in kpop. Like I'm an ARMY aswell as a carat and I always had Blood sweat and tears at that spot but this is just on another level. If Thanks doesn't win performance of the year / best dance, I'll personally come to Korea and fight
Elin same, I'm also an army, but this seriously is my favourite choreography I've seen in a while, I really, really hope that the get best male group dance again this year, for this or whatever no doubt breathtaking choreography they come up with between now and December 😀

0:45-0:51 the way they make use of having so many members to make such beautiful formations and transitions is insane, a lot off ppl may think many members is a disadvantage but for seventeen and their skill level its not, they make it work
I KNOW, I KEEP ON REVERSE THE VIDEO ON THAT PART BECAUSE IT'S WAY TOO ADDICTIVE
damn...i think seventeen is the only boy group that really catch my eyes with their choreography...
other groups are great too, there is just something with seventeen's choreo
topspin_14 that’s what I have been thinking for a long time.
I watched and stan many groups but when I'm searching for dances and choreographies I always go for Seventeen coz why not, they're on another level.

It's an ART.
oof i saw this on twitter too lol, popularity or going viral doesn't always equate to being great or being the best
if thanks doesn't win best dance track/best choreo im suing lol

this choreography is really a masterpiece. I feel so much emotions while watching it, no matter how many times I already did. It deserves so much better.
@@ailengarcia6613 there's no award which would reflect how much Thanks deserves.
it's not the usual choreo video in the practice room but for some reason this feels more... raw? the emotions are so real and felt.
ProjectAnimation Check UP10TION, their dance practice. They are not worse, amazing too
Ahgase even though you break your head
She's not dragging tho?
Tbh I never though a choreography could beat Don't Wanna Cry. But then I see this and damn. Talent over talent. Art over art
*They dance so synchronously, it's like they come back, this choreography is ...*

_my sons are the_ *_'king of synchronization'_* _indeed_ 👏🏻 _im a proud mom again_ 💖
Seventeen x Carats *whispers* check out ACE they're lit dancers and singer, just like the wonderful babies of svt. Plz🙏🏽
THE MOST SATISFYING VIDEO
3:33 Ya'll notice that white feather!! This is beautiful😭❤️
This is what we call a 'team'. They shine individually but they could 'shine' the whole world as a team.
세븐틴은 진정한 '팀'이 아닐까 싶습니다. 혼자도 빛낫지만 13명이 모여 있을때가 제일 빛이 난다.
YESSS!! This comment should be shared, it's iconic. Thank you for this, Jae Hee.
Accurate!!
This choreo is so powerful and emotional what did we ever do to deserve such wonderful, perfect boys 😭
Saribou right
THE SYNCHRONIZATION IS SO SATISFYING😍
The choreography is simply astounding like always. It's so obvious how much time, effort, and love they put into creating and practicing this. Seventeen's style can tell the watcher a story and that's what's so beautiful about it. Carats, Seventeen gave us their everything with this so let's give them our all too. Seventeen Fighting!
Nadindra Sutrisno
YES!! 👏👏👏 I watched all the fancams and they are all amazing , each of them with a different but amazing energy💕
Yes, there are *no* dance holes in seventeen. The members who weren't as strong in dance in the beginning have greatly improved and as a whole, I know they'll evolve even more.
The Audrey Hepburn shirt Jun wears in Mansae

Junnie's perfect nose He was so good and I'm so proud of him!
Man i been telling people. Like no one can fuck w/ SVT on a choreography level. Lmao it's just impossible.
As a huge Army and now a new Carat, you gotta give props when props are due. Fact: it is much more difficult to get synchronization with 13 members than it is with 7 members. Mad respect to these guys.

Seventeen is on another level. I swear
2:51 is just a really cool move and it's so in SYNC. like...i'm blown away and so proud
Maybe that's why it's making me emotional.
oh man ;___; you said it perfectly. now IM emo

I guess that's why the repackage is called Director's Cut as well ;)
Kairos very true :")
So true ♥
I love how crisp & synchronised their choreographies are but they look so difficult & ALL their dances are high quality. They clearly are hard working. Please take the best care of our boys, Pledis.
The8 at 2:38 is so satisfying, i've never saw any dance cover that can do the same as him.
He's so amazing 😍 I love him so much 😭
I agree with you, it is so satisfying.
I'm not exaggerating when I say this but this song is the first song I've listened to for about 5 months now everyday without getting tired of. Like I'm truly amazed that I'm still not tired of this song yet
I listen to this song to sleep ❤
it's such a bop and so satisfying to listen to so I get u!
i dont know if i can express this properly but just the dance aspect of seventeen by itself is so fluid and together yanno? its like this moving river that constantly cycles back within the members and they move their bodies so smoothly and expressively and i know thats the point of dance? but with seventeen especially i feel like you could tell so many stories with just one choreo, and theyre so like harmonious that you can just let your eyes slip between all the members and watch the whole group its so beautiful wow i love seventeen brb crying
Seems like hoshi were trying to say to haters that svt owns the best performance awards by making this hard choreography. Am i right or am i right?😄
(btw thanks to hoshi n perf unit n choreographer who made this its so freaking amazing!!¡!)
_stan pure talent, stan svt._
_y'all, how can everything they do is just- wow? i love stanning talent._

DK in this song really stood out to me in the MV because of the raw emotion he portrayed in his parts, I was thoroughly impressed when he was able to capture those same feelings on the stage with all of the other members as well. DK is honest to god one of the most talented idols I've ever witnessed.
*_Never too early to say this but... hands down choreography of the century._*
мαкι ηιsнιкιησ
Just wait until they make a better one.
@@yingli9094 that's beautiful oh my god.

Yeah, I noticed this in many dance practices!!
This is Seventeen's best choreography. Junnie and Hoshi's solo part gave me hella chills. One of the most beautiful choreos I've seen honestly and no one can tell me otherwise
In my opinion, I think this choreography topped Don't Wanna Cry, I hope this gets an award for the choreo in the future!
for the difficulty Don't Wanna Cry still win, but for the power they gave in this choreo , we can feel more emotions from this

That's why I Stan hoshi!!!he's the best
Min Hoshi True. I'm a frustrated dancer myself and it's really hard to come up with a dance that could capture the audience's attention. But Hoshi & the performance team really did a good job portraying the lyrics thru their dance. As always.
