    Le Bora Bora, in my opinion, is hands down the best value for the money resort in Bora Bora!
    We've been at this resort 3 times now (14 nights in December/January of 2020/21, 15 nights in July 2021 and 13 nights in December/January 2022/23) and will be there again for another New Years in 19 weeks!
    I feel that I can truly compare the experience you get at Le Bora Bora, a 4 star resort, with the ones you get at the 5 star resorts. We've been to Bora Bora 6 times and have stayed and been to most of the resorts there, including 7 nights at the Four Seasons in March of 2022, as well as a few day passes at St. Regis and Conrad.
    On shorter stays, where price diference isn't as significant and as long as within people's budget, I would say to go all out and stay at a 5 star resort... Personally, my favorites are Four Seasons and St. Regis, as they offer the Mountain View from the OWB and have nice lagoonariums!
    We like to go for two weeks at a time, so Le Bora Bora is a more budget friendly for those longer stays and in my opinion offers pretty close to the 5 star resort experience! OTW bungalows are much smaller (they do have two end of pontoon OTW villas that are bigger and we've stayed a few nights on one of them as well), but plenty of space for even a small family of 3 like us that bring our teenage daughter and they feel relatively new, since the resort was fully renovated and re-opened just a couple of months before our first trip there at the end of 2020. Beautiful views of Mt. Otemanu from pretty much anywhere in the resort! Beautiful spacious beach! Great snorkeling off the bungalow, as well as at the resort's Coral Garden! I wouldn't say service is at the 5 star resort level, but it is pretty amazing and feels a lot more genuine, as most of the staff are locals. Also, we feel that even though you pay a lot more at the 5 star resorts, they nickel and dime you on everything, while at Le Bora Bora you get free daily mini bar refills, plenty of boat shuttles to and from the main island (pretty much every 30 minutes to an hour) that are free up to certain times.
    Basically, Le bora Bora has become our resort of choice for our vacations in Paradise, our happy place!!!

      Amazing you've been so lucky to experience them all! I would highly recommend Le Taha'a if you haven't been there already. We loved Le Bora Bora but Le Taha'a was definitely the most magical resort we've ever been to. Next time we visit we are hoping to see a few more islands, but we also would really love to check out the Westin that is opening soon. Enjoy your upcoming trip!

      @@travelfuller Le Taha'a looks amazing and more secluded, so once we get tired of Bora Bora, we'll give it a go! :)
      We're not people that like to island hop... We like to go to one place and stay there as long as we can and relax without having to unpack and pack multiple times, as well as the added traveling time and check ins, etc.
      Therefore, for now, we're just too in love with Bora Bora where we've made friends and just enjoy our time there too much. It's funny that we also do all the same activities/excursions every time and don't get tired of them at all either! :D

      @@travelfuller We always do two snorkeling tours (the full day with Lagoon Services that you did and a private tour with Reef Discovery), Parasailing, jetski and ATV... The last couple of times there, we did the full day with Lagoon Service with jetski combo (basically, instead of the coconut show, you go do the two our jetski tour after lunch) to kill two birds with one stone... On our next trip, we're going to do the ATV and Jetski combo... Sometimes we throw one or two more activities, but they're not must do's for us, such as wakeboarding, 4x4 tour and diving...
      I have a few videos here of the various activities from the multiple trips there... They're not as well put together as yours, but I guess you could check them out to get an idea... ;)

      Funny enough it looks like we've actually watched a bunch of your Le Bora Bora ones already! I didn't risk flying my drone around the resort with the airport so nearby, but your footage is great! Also, I was curious if you book through a travel agent? We get a lot of great added benefits at almost all of the resorts in Bora Bora for the same rate if that is something you'd be interested in!

      @travelfuller  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      There is a full board rate but we got breakfast included through my travel agency and just found it cheaper to pay a la carte for everything else! There aren't any true all inclusives in Bora Bora

      We loved it! And no, one benefit of this resort is the sand bar the overwater bungalow are on. The water was only like three feet deep by our bungalow which was the second furthest out! Some of the other resorts like the Conrad have bungalows in really deep water

    Would you recommend this resort over Conrad?

    • @travelfuller
      @travelfuller  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Both are amazing! The Conrad is a great option if you are loyal to Hilton and using Hilton Honors points to cover any of your trip. It's slightly more luxurious and the rooms are a little larger. Le Bora Bora is the best value property in Bora Bora. The view of the mountain is much better than the Conrad which faces out towards the ocean (although not as good as the InterContinental and Four Seasons). We loved how shallow the water was around the overwater bungalows! It can be really deep off some of the ones at the Conrad. We are also travel agents and get some great perks at both hotels if you’re looking to book!

    I am traveling to bora bora next week and i will be staying at the same hotel. I had a few questions for you. 1 how much cash do you recommend one take? And 2 for activities did you book them through the hotel activities or 3rd party companies?

    • @travelfuller
      @travelfuller  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Have an amazing trip! We exchanged about $300 for our two week trip and it seemed like the perfect amount. If you watch the second video in this series we explain the best place in Tahiti to take out cash, it saved us a ton! And we booked all of our excursions on Viator and I’m so glad we did. The hotel offered the exact same ones for a much higher price. There were people on our lagoon tour that booked it in the hotel for about $100 more. The link to those are in the description!

    What's your overall choice between Intercontinetal, St Regis, Le Bora Bora, or 4 Seasons? It seems so hard to make a choice. I want to ride bikes, have fun at the resort, but I also want to have the best view of Mount Otemanu in a room and to have glass floor accents would be cool too!

    • @travelfuller
      @travelfuller  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We chose Le Bora Bora because of its value but the Four Seasons is the best in our opinion. The InterContinental Thalasso has the best spot and an amazing spa but the Four Seasons location is almost just as good while being better in pretty much every single way. There is a Westin opening soon as well that might be a very compelling option! If you'd like any help booking, we are also travel agents and can usually get exclusive rates and some great complimentary perks at all of these resorts!

      What makes Four Seasons better in every way? Have you stayed at the St Regis resort? @@travelfuller

    • @travelfuller
      @travelfuller  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We have visited all four properties but only personally stayed at Le Bora Bora! Cost aside, the Four Seasons has the nicest rooms and most beautiful property. The rooms at Le Bora Bora are probably my second favorite but its location is the worst of the four. All four have glass to see the ocean in their overwater bungalows. The St. Regis is the only one I'm aware of that has bikes on property for guests. You really can't go wrong with any of these! Are you leaning towards any?
