Technically this is his Armageddon Chapter, the only Omni Man transferred into this timeline's the Prime Omni Man, to write off a good/redeemed Nolan as Liu Kang's champion may... Spoil things too much, as the Arts here already teased Conquest (cleverly in the frame when Nolan said the exact word) & Nolan's eventual return to Earth along with Mark's preparation for Viltrumite War.

I highly disagree. We keep getting DLC characters without any special powers or gimmicks, it's lame. Both Homelander and Omni-man are "man fly man bad". Homelander's "uniqueness" is laser eyes, which Kano does.
I would love it because seeing Mark in 3D animation and kicking ass would be awesome, but I gotta agree that it would be too many Superman clones for one game

I haven't really played the newer MK games (nerve injury and can't do fast paced fighting games very well anymore) but enjoy watching the various content from the game. It really seems like those working on the MK games take the time to understand and respect the source material for all of the various "guest" characters. So many companies make a game based on a character and totally change it, go against lore, or just get things totally wrong. Not sure what I'm saying, just that I have a certain admiration for their efforts and, even only experiencing the game vicariously, it makes it much more immersive and enjoyable.
So they made a model for Conquest???? Interesting….

Seeing as NetherRealm is owned by WB, I'm actually surprised Regime, Justice Lord or Kingdom Come Superman wasn't a DLC character alongside Omni-Man and Homelander. Those versions would be perfect fits for MK as well as a counterpart to Homelander and Omni-Man.
@@23Raind Why not both? Omni-Man is closer to Kingdom Come Superman and the two Supermen based on him while Homelander is closer to the version of Ultraman from the Anti-Matter universe. Although to be honest I think Doomsday is a better fit for Homelander's backstory lol.

3 slots wasted. one is an edgelord evil version of superman with mario moustashe, other is a bad parody of trump and the last one is captain america sold in low budget stores :D I mean I never liked guests, but at least guests in previous MKs were worth playing like Kratos, Jason, Predator, Terminator etc.. now look at them hahah :D

I think Omni-Man is pretty fitting to the mk, and i like him. I don't know about other two, but i think his slot isn't wasted at all.

Omni-man is basically "what if Superman was send to conquer earth and the kriptonians are a conqueror race?". Even if they try to explore that with Flash Point Superman, ultimately Omni-man is the only closest thing we had Superman in a MK, after we had Joker in MK11. Also tell me you never seen anything either Invisible or The Boys to at least understand the reason (Nolan because of what i mentioned before. And Homelander, because in his serie he is a complete jerk. Is basically, what if Superman was a bully).
