While it may feel warm and fuzzy to do this, it might be unwise to give the impression that mankind is marching in lockstep. We have wildly different ways of living and thinking on this planet. It might be better to be honest and communicate that lest we be seen as hypocritical in nature. We are an equal but different species might be a better description.
@@IlmarBeekman I'm not a romantic. But if we would put our efforts in cooperation instead of fighting each other for ideological reasons, we could already be standing on Mars. We are failing because of unreflected evolutionary load like tribalism. We will not pass the test for wise, enduring species, if we don't overcome a mere functional intelligence, short-sighted and attracted by simplicity.
So, no diversity then? I'm confused. Or, perhaps you are. What if some of us prefer to maintain significant elements of our organic distinctiveness? I'm actually pretty sure that evolution is about members of one species doing something different.
@@stanleyshannon4408 There is no logic in your conclusion - remembering that we are one species and labeled ourselves "Homo sapiens" does not mean at all "no diversity". Evolution is not about members of species, it's about species in a system of mutation and selection. Yes, you are confused, that part is right.
What until the first public broadcast of the film alien reaches them. They’ll probably quarantine the whole system
Listen to what exalted actors tell you to, they know better.
Aliens. Settled
I thought that had been put to bed ?
More like a possible explanation rather than bedtime.
@andymccracken4046 oh ok. Cheers :-)
@@andymccracken4046I reckon we can call it. If it walks like hydrogen and quacks like hydrogen yno …
Not that it’s not a shame 😕🤷♂️
It’s so funny how this pops up now. Undetectable unmodulated continuous wave. Detected 😂 so intense. Me also 2 secs later 😂 so intense
Global reasoning on a "First Contact Scenario" could be helpful in reminding us of the simple fact that we are ONE species.

Yah… a species with a lot of variation but us… because you know, science? That thing you pretend to like
