I am glad that you are demonstrating the orchestrated background styles on your Wersi, but you really do not have to play full chords, as you can play also one-finger-chords.
Yep, it does but I don't think it supports styles from some of the latest models. Actually, we are in the midst of putting together a package of styles that we have tested on OAX that folks can download. Watch over on our other site (IMMusic - immusic.co) for an announcement on that coming soon. We did a survey not too long ago and found that over 80% of current OAX owners would be interested in adding to their style collection. We are working on that! :)
WersiClubUSA thanks for the answer. While all yamaha styles are recognisable by the .sty format. There are actually 2 types of formats SFF1 and SFF2 (style File Format).. many psr instruments only use SFF1.. and even if the Wersi supports SFF2(which i dont expect) then not all styles will work, most high end yamaha styles require mega voices. And if you don’t have thos specific yamaha sounds, you will never get the tracks with a megavoice to work..(altough im oas Wersi had an algorythm converting megavoices to normal Wersi voices)
Good info Jules. I worked with either Wersi or Roland for about as long as I can remember. I've certainly run across both of the SFF formats but never knew the difference.
Therefore I can buy a good Genos and an Electric Car! 😁😀😎 So what! No Wersi! 😀😁😎 Or a bunch of Genos with full foodpedal and a Hi Fi Pa for 100.000 stadion Fans with the best musician! 😁😀😎 The Organ ist from Roland!! 😂😎🎅

Does the OAX play yamaha styles? The OAS could to some extend with the style engine expansion pack
