Can anyone help me figure out where to find a glass bottle like the one with green and black tape that he uses in this video?
I think it was an old Roses Lime Cordial bottle.
What’s the song through the video? I’ve tried the link but doesn’t send me to the right tune.
Hi Sam, apologies, but I don't have the name of the song. It was a copywright free piece of music from Epidemic Sound if I remember correctly. This edit was on another computer that got stolen so I lost all the info. I've had a little look for it, but will search again and if I find it i'll let you know.
hello bro tom, I just want more videos to u, Because super Idolice u and I'm also know how to flair but my experience in flair is not enough my all routine is very easy pa.
by the way I'm from philipines.😀
Hey, there are loads of videos on my channel. did you find them already? I hope they are helping.
Hey, I am looking to find how to pour 2 bottles, with 1 hand, consecutively; one after the other. Cheers
Michael Robinson hi Michael. I'm not 100% sure what you mean. However I will put together a How To of 2 bottle one handed pours for you.
Tom, I think he's talking about a cross-pour?
Alex Guerrero - that's what I thought originally but I already shared that video and it wasn't that one. I think I know which one he needs now
Alex Guerrero Nope. He covered that one off, that one was a little easier. What I’m looking for is when they use their fingers to raise one bottle, than the other. The cross works for now tho;)
Been trying out a few different ways to do this. It's hard, but I got ya. There is a way to stop and start them alternatively, but will take some practice. I'll try and film it soon. ;)
Do you wink after every pour?
Yep. I find it helps people believe in my pours a lot more. hahahahahhahahaha ;)
Tom Dyer very creative, oh and impressively smooth skills
Keep it up!
That’d be awesome. So 1 hand, 2 bottles. You pour an oz from the first, THAN an oz from the second, as opposed to the same time... say into different tins. Cheers
Michael Robinson do you mean like this. Check at 9:36: th-cam.com/video/fQ0RQL4ZRgE/w-d-xo.html
Pretty much, yea. Thanks. That said, devils in the details... the only small thing is I’m looking to ‘raise’ one bottle, than lower it; to raise the next one.
Again, Thanks. I’ll learn it your way, still.
Cheers
PS. I love how you break things down, and use the names of the moves... any course recommendations? (Online) Shameless self promotions welcomed:p
Michael Robinson I get what you mean. It's a difficult one but I'll try and figure it out and show you.
Courses. I would suggest starting to learn the WFA Grading level routines and takijng your tests. Yellow is first, then orange green and blue.
You can learn from me at www.flaircamp.com once a year in September or go to barschool.net for other flair courses. I hope that helps?
Hey Michael. I would suggest the WFA Gradings. Get started learning those routines. They are great to get better and to use behind the bar. Also, try out youflair.com They have some great videos on there for learning. Follow the world flair association for more videos to come on there soon :)
like video
Try doing these with odd shaped bottles or even normal sized 750ml bottles lol.
11 out of the 13 pours are possible with ANY bottle. Half of the moves are just with the jigger, so the bottle doesn't matter. the only 2 moves that need a certain type of bottle are double and the assisted roll.
The reason I had small bottles for some of the pours (I did use a 700ml for some others) was simply because that was what was at hand at the time. 🤷🏼♂️
whats the music in the video???
Savio Pires it's written in the description.
What the hell is a booyaa tribe inside the ride!???
...it's not the first time I've heard this!
Ravi Camadoo hahahahahah. Just a little bit of awesomeness I like to say. 😂
Great videos I like to see a video with bottle finger roll Ive seen them in competition now I know the one with the reverses a grip button competition I've seen them spin the bottle of few times but it's too fast to see how they change the grips
tommyboyreckids No problem. I will put it on the list. It might take me some time, but I will do it.
Tom Dyer great and thanks. For responding back
The song behind?
I'm sorry, I dont remember. I'll try and find out, but it was copyright free music from a website.
From one professional to another, its smooth what you do, but why is it that the European and English scene is all about flair bartending? In the States during the 80's-early 2000's flair was the scene, but after 2010 the flair stopped, so I'm just curious as to why its become so popular over there
Hey man.
Well, flair is still going in the US but on a much smaller scale. However, I think why it has become more popular in Europe is for a few reasons.
1. Got Talent TV - Finland was won by a tandem flair team. Romania, UK & Ukraine all had flair bartenders in the finals pushing their status and flair around their counties.
2. Social media - there are a lot of "pro" flair bartenders with a large following. There is even 1 guy in Italy (Bruno Vanzan) that has his own TV show called cocktail house. He's extremely well known in Itaky from this and is a flair bartender.
3. American bartenders dont need to flair to make tips so they dont bother training and getting better. In europe we have to work harder for tips. Haha.
4. A lot of the big flair competitions are in Europe with the biggest in London UK.
There is probably many other reasons, but this is my opinion from what I've learnt over the years.
Hope that sheds some light on the situation
@@TomDyerBartender Absolutely man, I appreciate the response. Although, in the States, its been my experience that people tend to tip higher if you're fast, at least that's been my experience. However its hit or miss anywhere in the industry but that makes sense why now. I'm not a big trick kind of bartender but I'll give a shaker tin a twirl every now and then. Cheers Brother!
thom yorke? it’s that u?
Can you do private video chat type lessons?
Sorry I don't offer that. 😕
This man looks so stoned.
Brah, to be able to do flair like that with bad depth perception means you must've put a hell of an effort into mastering your craft. Demands respect, impressive!
Same
I want to know how many Chili’s bartenders watched this video and immediately went on to break multiple well bottles. 😂
all of them, hahahahhaha jk
Cool tricks. Entirely too fast and not slow enough with explanation. Cool to watch. Useless for learning unfortunately.
shame, sorry about that. I have plenty of other videos great for learning
This isn't bartending this is just ego being bored and creating something with something out of nothing. It's cool but you're literally giving people hours and hours of hard work and body pain. For waste people's life like this
Thanks for stopping by 😁
