@@TomDyerBartender Ohh thanks to you! Also great moves, I just got a problem making the cut with pour spout on the vegas pour, any advice on how to make it properly???
@@xecker16 I assume you mean the final cut. If so, maybe this video can help th-cam.com/video/2mFo8VhYsJA/w-d-xo.html Also, you can bring the shaker up closer to the spout to begin with and then as you get better you can make the cut with a longer pour. I'll try and put a video together on long hours at some point
You are extraordinary at teaching. Showing flair tricks and describing them is one thing, but breaking down the specific motions needed to perform them is another. You do it well, which I guess have taken years of practice, perfecting every detail and understanding the key components yourself. Keep up the good work with educating worldwide in a fun and easy way
Ah, thanks Sebastian. That really means a lot. I'm happy that my videos are helpful and educational at the same time. Thank you very much for the comment and for watching 😉👍🏻
Well. Wish me luck. Day 1 will start today when I get to work at 4pm. Tues. Aug. 30. Will start with napkin and just bottle control. Thank you. I need to see more of those competition videos. Man that looked awesome.
Really love working flair and you always ask for what we want to see from you, i want more working flair! 😁😻🙏 love u tom and thanks for everything you do for us 🙌.
I have several of videos online already showing how to flair, but maybe our Pro Flair Group might be more interesing for you. tomdyerbartender.com/pro-flair-group
Those hateful 8^^ Why thumbs down an incredible training video? I will be committing to at least 1 practice video per week until my moves are ready for the big leagues. Thank You Tom Dyer for providing content that is actually helpful to flair bartenders that are in the early learning stages of this incredibly dangerous profession. Keep it up Flairmaster Dyer.
Thank you. Well I can't please anyone, so there is always haters somewhere :) Welcome to the wonderful world of flair bartending. Remember, making drinks is important too
every time i try to practice catching a bottle on the back of my hand or elbow i always do it to hard and hurt myself lol is there a better way to go about catching it or do i need to toughen up my hands/elbows?
Thanks Andrea. I'm glad I can inspire you. Keep up the good work and thanks for watching and commenting. I will have more stuff on my patreon channel coming up.
I’m not a professional bartender but I’ve always wanted to be one but I’ve got a question, with the flair moves doesn’t the manager or owner get pissed about the alcohol that gets spilled even though it seems to be a very small amount from your awesome video……you have crazy skills !
The trick is to not spill or dont let them see you spill. But, if they do see you spill, and you're not flicking alcohol all over the place, they should realise that the flair is creating an atmosphere in the bar customers can't find in many places. this potentially deserves a video one day as it goes much deeper
Your moves are awesome, you can make a video every day! Do you have some slow flair moves? It would be amazing if you will found some time and showed us a few slower moves with a bottle and shaker. Super fast moves are awesome but i can't find any video with slower moves. Greetings from Poland! You are the best.
Thanks Wujek..I tried to make a video every day but it is a lot of work which I dont have time for right now. However, slow flair moves is a nice idea. I'll add it to the list and see what I can come up with 😉👍🏻
So I’ve been tending bar for about 5-6 years now and slowly have started to get into flair- what’s the best tip of trick for someone new to flair but experienced with the bar/tools/etc?
Hi Sree, I did a video about this on the Flair Camp instagram TV page recently which you can find here instagram.com/tv/B-9UPHDlzim/?igshid=funneatbjutu
Hey! Just found your channel and am loving it so far! Do you have any tips and tricks involving working flair with the sure shot stoppers? The ones that stop your pours at an ounce. I notice a lot of tricks don't really involve these but thats what my bar has to work with. Thanks man! Keep killing it
Hi Sam, glad you're liking the channel. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Well, the shot stopper pourers. I wouod suggest convincing your boss to throw them in the bin. All that says to me is "my boss doesn't trust me to do a good job". I guess thats not feasible, so, for not work on moves with all the other tools for not. I have several videos showing craft / working flair that you can work on.
Sorry to hear that. In adversity I see great opportunity to try new things and make nee income. I'll make a video on how a flair bartender or a bartender can make money soon.
First 👌
HAPPY DAYS. Thank you for being the first. For that you get a pin.

Cushion the catch. It's all about that. Learning how to lower your hand or arm at the speed of the object to cushion the landing so it doesn't hurt.
