I never knew Akwasi personally but we went to the same community college and I would see him riding his skateboard around the campus. Its so cool to witness his growth from a distance. Im so glad this dude stuck to his guns and pushed hard to get to were he is at now. Fully deserved!

Great skating and great video. I never thought of Asics and skateboarding. I only knew of Asics back in the day because of friends who were drummers, who swore by wearing Asics wrestling shoes so they had better feel for their pedals. But, a couple of the colorways in this video look pretty good.
Idk how I feel about the shoes, I used to wear their boxing shoes when I was still training in my early and mid teens but I never imagined them getting into skateboarding. I thought Gino was kinda on adidas? Hopefully he will bless us with more than ten seconds of footage every couple years, he is one of the only guys out there that can make basically any trick look great
