hey flaming hat! ive been around for about like a year or so, without even realizing it. ive always watched a video of yours when i was playing an undertale fan game on roblox. i first found you when i needed help beating omega flowey in undertale dungeons, and ever since ive been spying on your videos for more help. and ive started to play undertale tower defense with my friend alot and it so happens that you have a ton of guides on it too! these guides had led me up to level 13 reset 1, and i am sstill grinding. thank you so much for producing all these guides and youre probably the coolest undertale roblox fangame yt ever, not only cause you play mostly all the ones people are adapted to, but you also make not only a series, but guides to help others get better! you deserve way more then 3k subs, and i wanna let you know how much everyone appreciates you helping them out! have a wonderful day/night! looking forward to more guides :)

Something to tell you, i was at 1.3k spares with your strat (i used reaper) but my game crashed and all i saw was jesus saying "i saw that" backround and the tears going out on my eyes. PS: Even if the game is old you're still the best youtuber i need

I managed to get to 1k spares without migospel, didn't use any 30 same units here and only a gold boost of 272 percent. I also failed to place 2 glydes at the first glyde spot. But I followed the placements as best as I could. you don't even need all the units I only had 4 slots. That's how good this guide is thanks a bunch!

This is pretty helpful i didnt had astig but i had reaperbird and i was doing true lab while copying the placements and upgrade but then i ended up dying at 117% and then i got snowdrakes mom

I like to imagine that the monsters are doing tricks to spare enemies. IE: Pyrope is doing fire tricks, Tsunderplane -confesses- does tricks (but not because she likes you or anything!), Vulkin erupts harmlessly, and Undyne jumps right in front of the enemy and threatens them to stand off. There are more, of course, but... not enough room here.
@@mouthlesshater Sans does the whoopee cushion trick which, doesn't really pacify them much it just slightly aggravates them

Honestly with the new DT buff its made true lab and endless so much easier lol, went from nearly 500 spares to 2k

I had an idea for a strat for this (bravery), although it isnt solo, basically have your teammate solo till you have enough to place undying or mtt neo so that you can get the chosen one bonus on a really strong tower, it could go even faster if you have a kindness user to be sending you money
Edit: I just thought of the idea, no clue if it's viable or not.

OUHawk has a wonderful Bravery strat video that doesn't lose out on Territory Ruler through use of Madjick at start instead of Astigmatism. Though this is a good video too give help too other souls, particularly useful for my trio I run with who has all 3 souls me being the Bravery soul.
What do you mean? I explained that this guide doesn't lose Territory Ruler for a while. You just sell the Astigmatism.
@@FlamingHatYT I'm not quite sure how it works, but don't you lose Territory Ruler overall having both air and ground or do you get it back after removing one? I was under the impression you'd lose it entirely for the rest of the run after you place both down.
If so that invalidates my statement but Madjick is still another good choice for those starting True Lab off with Bravery
@@thefemboyking I'm fairly certain that I asked some Bravery users to test it, and they informed me that it was based on current units placed.

the main point of this guide is to say that true lab is way easier than it seems, literally just use glydes the entire time til it gets bad then use land units (im territory ruler bravery so this is based on me)

This update made true lab much easier as well. Mad mew mew used to have more health as well lol
The guide works perfectly, there is only one problem for me, maybe not for other people, but losing internet connection is pretty bad, the more far you are, it ill be more worse because if losing internet connection, we ill lose all our progress. it happened to me right now sadly. i was at 320 spares sadly.
So, on top of the “can attack flying” for level 5 Mettaton EX/NEO, I also discovered that Mettaton EX (and maybe by extension NEO) also gains a “critical hit” which does double damage to anyone naturally in their range AND their normal damage on all enemies on the map.
I learned this while I was doing a made up challenge of mine called “Mettatime”

@@mouthlesshater its basically where you can only use one type of flying unit (so that you can beat the flying enemies), and then the rest of your units is Mettaton, Mettaton EX, and Mettaton NEO.
That’s basically the entirety of the challenge.
You can use Temmie and Alphys to buff money production but you can’t use any other units that can attack

Hey I hope you know this but when pressing E, you can upgrade faster, it saves time, Same goes for Q which sells the tower.
I always end up accidentally selling my towers when I tend to go walkabout.

I believe Alphys is worse than Shyren in multiple scenarios, being more costly and being an "Equal Trade" support, lowering range for more attack.
However at level 1 Base I would govern the idea that Alphys is better by just barely any amount in that regard.
was able to get to 650 spares with the kindness soul and only glyde, migospel, astig, mettaton ex and neo, and undying (didn't have knight knight and shyren, also had whimsalot and mad dummy equipped but never used, probably wouldve gone a bit farther if i had)
did it with knight knight and shyren this time, i got to 1400 spares!
Undying is better then neo so if you max undying more fast you wont have that much of a risk

I'm confused. The guide explains that it is covering things for every soul type (Kindness did not exist yet.) Ruler's purpose is extra gold to my memory, so eventually every soul uses land units.

It's always possible to cut out or switch units, but effectiveness might decline.

So for the special souls: which souls could I switch up because I have sans, asgore, asriel and they much stronger then mettaton ex and neo but aren’t aoe, would it better to keep the mettatons (which I don’t have yet) or is it better to switch it up (keeping undyne the undying maybe) short ver: what are the absolute best special souls for this
sans doesn't even work on pacifist so i wouldn't recommend him for this

Fun fact: it's possible to stack two undyings in one vending machine but it's needs very VERY precise placement to stack them I know this sounds impossible but me and my friend did it

Do you wanna get 3k - 4.5k spares on true lab? all of your units need to be aoe's. amazing aoe's. your good multiplier needs to be 351%, you need to have the the Mettaton EX morph in order to do this. If you don't have it. get it. If your wondering what aoe's you will need? Here is a list.

Well temmie isn't used in true lab runs, but you need temmie to get asriel as soon as possible.

sans does not have dodges he actually has 6k hp well untill the buff which gives him time

Asriel is a decent switch for NEO, but I would recommend switching EX with Asriel instead.
