Snub Hero I know right? It fits wall of flesh because it induces the fear that you and your character feel when facing the wall. The boss is different than all the others you have been facing. It’s an amalgamation blood, guts and flesh into a hell brimming monster. You don’t know what to do but run and fight to survive.
Cause the first few seconds of the song bops similar to the beginning of the boss fights where spazmatism and the hungries all bounce around in a circular motion jamming to the music.
If you think about it, out of everything we fight in Prehardmode (except mayne BoC) the WoF is absolutely terrifying in comparison. A mass of flesh, eyes, and mouths that latches onto you with tendrils of flesh as it chases you through hell... the only time we really fight something comparable is with the ML, and by then your character has seen so much and has gotten so powerful the sense of fear is gone.
@@lynkcrafter8923 imo the wall of flesh is still worse. By the time you get to wall of flesh most of the things you see are pretty tame compared to it. After that, nothing would really scare the character after seeing that.

I killed the voodoo demon And my inventory got full, i got all his drops EXCEPT THE DOLL It was the ONLY thing i didn't grab And it slowly slided into ONE BLOCK of Lava. Wall Of Flesh Has Awoken And my friend was still dead. I guess i don't need to say what happened next

Use Beenades on Wall of Flesh Edit 3 years later: Good lord I made this comment back before 1.4 came out LOL! Looking back now, I find it quite poetic and appropriate that the Night's Edge, having it's spot as the ultimate sword of prehardmode as long as it did, can finally stand a chance against the Wall of Flesh these days!

this theme is so so so so good. its upbeat, fast pace, and works perfectly for the 2 fights its suited for. thats what i like about this theme. it isnt overused like Boss 1. its used twice in 2 killer fights.

I like how its entirely possible to hear this song back to back, you just have to kill wall of flesh right before night starts, and then the twins could spawn instantly. Very low chance, just like item drops
In order for this to actually happen, you would have to kill wall of flesh, get the pwnhammer from it, destroy 3 demon or crimson altars, go back to the underworld and kill wall of flesh again right before midnight, then instantly recall and hope the twins spawn.
First time that happened was a complete accident. Back in 1.1, I was farming for money in the Underworld, and got my inven filled with Guide Voodoo Dolls. I was used to throwing my items into lava to get rid of them. I immediately panicked, and used my Magic Mirror to escape the Underworld. Thank goodness I wasn't playing as a Hardcore Character.

I don't know if I like the new twins theme very much, it's not like I don't it's just too slow. I always feel like the twins fight lights a fire under your ass and this is the perfect music for having a fire lit under your ass.

Fun story about WoF: so on my main world I defeated the wall of flesh, but decided against breaking altars once hardmode started. Instead, I decided to create a second world, defeat the wall of flesh then break altars. So I made a second world, went to the underworld and spent like,, 2 hours trying to find a voodoo demon. Finally, I find one, and in pure joy and excitement I chuck it into lava without thinking. The fight goes really well, but just as I'm about to kill WoF, I fall in some lava and die. As I respawn and look in my inventory, I realize in horror that I had my mining helmet equipped, not my molten helmet. So begrudgingly I head back to the underworld and spend another 2 hours grinding for a voodoo demon. Finally I get one and make sure to equip my right helmet and some obsidian skin potions before putting it into the flames. But,,, nothing happens. Thats because while I was grinding a goblin army appears, and at the time I didn't know during events such as the goblin army you couldn't summon WoF. So, I rush to the surface, defeat the army, go back to the underworld and once again grind for a voodoo doll. Once again I find once and chuck it into the fire... and nothing happens. Turns out the demolitionist moved into the guides house. So I go back to the surface and build houses for the npc's to move in, so the guide can spawn. I go (for a fourth time ;-;) into the underworld and get a voodoo demon. I drop it and finally summon the wall of flesh!! I defeat it, and even get a second Breaker's Blade with a better modifier. But, in one last act of punishment by the game,, I accidentally sell my version with the better modifier... All in all,,, I have the worst luck with this game
Well that set isn't bad just get campfires, Regen potions, heart lanterns, band of Regen panic necklace, if in hard mode use palidium armor. Bam your invincible

Lol I know this isn't official but I think the wall of flesh is probably some sort of voodoo atrocity because the doll doesn't really burn considering it survived in hell for so long so if you throw it in lava it continuously kills the guide qnd the wall of flesh is just the guides meat

Came to this video as soon as I knew about the new music theme for the twins in 1.4.5, in order to have some perspective. Idk about everyone else, but for me this theme is a total BANGER compared to the new ost. Honestly, I think the twins deserve better

I’m gonna be honest... My friend and I tried to defeat the Wall of Flesh. We actually planned out things really well, destroying fortresses and making a long road through the Underworld. We even had Crimson armor, Enchanted Swords, and numerous ranged weapons while having medium health/mana. We had beaten the WoF, so we got back home using Recall Potions, and... realised this was a big mistake. Edit: We couldn’t even leave our spawn at night.

For a good strategy. Use the life drain to kill the hungries quickly. Then whale the giant wall with bullets. All of it.

i was literally jamming out the entire wof fight cause the soundtrack just kicks ass
Fun story about WoF: so on my main world I defeated the wall of flesh, but decided against breaking altars once hardmode started. Instead, I decided to create a second world, defeat the wall of flesh then break altars. So I made a second world, went to the underworld and spent like,, 2 hours trying to find a voodoo demon. Finally, I find one, and in pure joy and excitement I chuck it into lava without thinking. The fight goes really well, but just as I'm about to kill WoF, I fall in some lava and die. As I respawn and look in my inventory, I realize in horror that I had my mining helmet equipped, not my molten helmet. So begrudgingly I head back to the underworld and spend another 2 hours grinding for a voodoo demon. Finally I get one and make sure to equip my right helmet and some obsidian skin potions before putting it into the flames. But,,, nothing happens. Thats because while I was grinding a goblin army appears, and at the time I didn't know during events such as the goblin army you couldn't summon WoF. So, I rush to the surface, defeat the army, go back to the underworld and once again grind for a voodoo doll. Once again I find once and chuck it into the fire... and nothing happens. Turns out the demolitionist moved into the guides house. So I go back to the surface and build houses for the npc's to move in, so the guide can spawn. I go (for a fourth time ;-;) into the underworld and get a voodoo demon. I drop it and finally summon the wall of flesh!! I defeat it, and even get a second Breaker's Blade with a better modifier. But, in one last act of punishment by the game,, I accidentally sell my version with the better modifier...
All in all,,, I have the worst luck with this game

Man I unintentionally summon the WoF by killing a Voodoo Demon above lava and all i had was a Hellstone sword with Crimtane armor and I died...
Well that set isn't bad just get campfires, Regen potions, heart lanterns, band of Regen panic necklace, if in hard mode use palidium armor. Bam your invincible

Apparently the lead dev, Redigit, confirmed in the official Terraria discord that the Guide is the Wall of Flesh (which is why burning the Guide Voodoo Doll summons it)
Lol I know this isn't official but I think the wall of flesh is probably some sort of voodoo atrocity because the doll doesn't really burn considering it survived in hell for so long so if you throw it in lava it continuously kills the guide qnd the wall of flesh is just the guides meat
I love how the wall of flesh fight feels, killing it is like achieving a milestone, despite having the entirety of hardmode to defeat too. Gotta be my favorite boss.

Came to this video as soon as I knew about the new music theme for the twins in 1.4.5, in order to have some perspective. Idk about everyone else, but for me this theme is a total BANGER compared to the new ost. Honestly, I think the twins deserve better

I remember one time me and my dad were playing Terraria on his pre-hardmode world. I was already into hardmode. I killed a voodoo demon and accidentally summoned WOF. Beat it in like 15 seconds while dad was running for his life lol

I’m gonna be honest...
My friend and I tried to defeat the Wall of Flesh.
We actually planned out things really well, destroying fortresses and making a long road through the Underworld.
We even had Crimson armor, Enchanted Swords, and numerous ranged weapons while having medium health/mana.
We had beaten the WoF, so we got back home using Recall Potions, and...
realised this was a big mistake.
Edit: We couldn’t even leave our spawn at night.
What happened?
